The Candy Cauldron Reopens w/ NEW Treats! Finding Disney Springs Hidden Gems | Walt Disney World Theme Park Foodies 2024-10-09 | The Candy Cauldron is a Disney Villain themed confectionary located at the Westside Section of Disney Springs. Recently this location went under a refurbishment and upon its reopening some brand new exclusive treats debuted. A statue of The Hag from the iconic Snow White & The Seven Dwarves film has greeted guests for years as they enter this Villain Themed store of sweet treats and subsequently many of these new items are themed after her deceptively delicious Poison Apple. Along with trying all these new sweet treats we also embarked on a quest to try Disney Springs snacks that've eluded us for years. We ended up at YeSake and B.B. Liberty Tree Tavern opened with Walt Disney World Resort in 1971. Located in the Liberty Square section of Disney's Magic Kingdom park, this table service dining establishment pays homage to the history of the United States and its founders. Each of the six dining rooms are themed after one of America's Founding Fathers. The menu is an all-you-care-to-enjoy Family-Style offering. There are three separate courses and the offerings can best be described as comfort food usually found during a classic Thanksgiving meal. Is Be Our Guest the BEST Restaurant at Magic Kingdom? Top 5 Series | Walt Disney World Theme Park Foodies 2024-10-03 | This video is part 1 of a series where we dine at our 5 favorite Magic Kingdom restaurants to see which we think is the best. Be Our Guest restaurant opened with Magic Kingdom's New Fantasyland expansion on November 12th, of 2012. This restaurant was designed to immerse guests into the iconic Beauty & the Beast film. The architecture and decor emulate Beast's Castle with patrons dining in either the Rose Gallery, Grand Ballroom or West Wing. The cuisine is French inspired with some offerings paying homage to delicacies from the Beauty & the Beast film. The famous Grey Stuff that's sung about during the Be Our Guest number is actually found on the dessert menu. This meal is considered Prix Fixe dining, which means patrons will pay a lump sum that includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. Despite this restaurant being located inside a theme park the menu's offerings aren't the standard theme park fare. High brow delicacies like escargot and Filet Mignon are the norm. We honestly can't imagine life without Frank. When I picked up Sam on our first date she was walking Frank. Frank was with us when we lost both our parents. He was with us when we moved to Florida and we jokingly referred to our move as Frank's retirement plan.The reason we purchased the house we did was largely motivated by Frank and we were only able to spend 5 weeks in it with him. I remember two weeks ago, after we settled in, I was sitting on the couch with Frank and Sam, and I said that I'd never been happier in my life. It's incredible how fast things can change. Every corner of our home has an area devoted to him.We feel broken. From the beginning it's always felt like it's been the three of us. Whenever we'd go out to vlog the hardest part was always leaving Frank behind. We wished we could take him to the parks with us and Sam would joke about making him a service dog just so we could. Our lives revolved around him and trying to navigate life without having him is devastating. He was the best dog for us. It was never just Sam and Jay, it was always Sam, Jay and Frank.We're trying to find solace in thinking that we never have to leave Frank behind when we go to the parks now. He'll always be with us in spirit. Due to this, we made a video breaking down the BEST RETURNING dishes for this years festival. These are dishes that've either made a return appearance from last year or that've become synonymous with Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival. These include items like the Canada Booth's famous Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Soup, Belgium's Beer Braised Beef and the Fry Basket's Fry Flight. Universal Orlandos BEST Food is at This Lounge | Strong Water Tavern Review | Sapphire Falls Resort Theme Park Foodies 2024-09-02 | Finding a place to eat at Universal Orlando Resort can be overwhelming. The options are seemingly endless between Islands of Adventure, CityWalk, Universal Studios Park and the numerous hotels. In our opinion, while the parks do offer some great quick service and CityWalk does have some stellar restaurants, the best cuisine on property is actually hidden at the resort hotels. This video specifically focuses on a lounge that we've heard great reviews on called Strong Water Tavern. Located inside Universal/Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, this bar offers quite the extensive and intricately themed menu. Sapphire Falls Resort is aesthetically designed to capture the atmosphere of the Caribbean. Subsequently, Strong Water Tavern is designed to complement this theme by focusing on Caribbean Rum production and offers a food menu that breaks down dishes based on a notable Caribbean Island they'd historically be offered at. Epcot Food & Wine Festival 2024 Opening Day! Guide, NEW Food, NEW Booths, Merchandise & More! Theme Park Foodies 2024-08-30 | Since 1996 Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival has been offering up park goers multicultural cuisine from around the globe. This years iteration is the first since Epcot completed its transformation. The newly opened Communicore Hall now has two brand new food booths in Macatizers and Festival Favorites. A newly transformed walkway called Harvest Hollow also has 3 new food booths named Bramblewood Bites, Forest & Field, and Milled & Mulled. While some booths were cut, the 2024 iteration of Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival still offers up over 30 inventive food booths. The changes to this years culinary line up intrigued us and we decided to see everything opening day at Epcot's most famous festival has to offer. Part of that charm comes from being able to savor the unique flavors of Boardwalk comfort food.The Boardwalk Resort's newest edition, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, is actually a Disneyland staple that's decided to make its Walt Disney World debut. These corn dogs are fresh dipped, fried and made to order. Their line up include a classic cornmeal dipped corn dog along with some bombastic creations like a Pickle Stuffed Corn dog, Golden Dragon Corn dog and a Mexican Street Corn dog. Blue Ribbon isn't all corn dogs though. They also offer up fresh made strawberry & classic lemonade along with Pineapple flavored Cotton Candy. This restaurant is located on Main Street USA and is connected to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. The menu focuses on elevated comfort food and the decor is reflects a turn of the 20th Century Victorian Era ashtetic. The offerings here stuck out to us because they seemed to be slightly more elevated than the quick service fare we had in our previous videos. NEW Menu at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar | Disney Springs BEST Lounge? Walt Disney World Theme Park Foodies 2024-08-19 | Located in The Landing section of Disney Springs, Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is often overshadowed by the numerous high quality restaurants and eateries that surround it. Just across from Jock Lindsey's is both Gideon's Bakehouse and Wine Bar George, next to it is Boathouse; all restaurants we've named as some of our favorites. In our opinion though, no bar at Disney Springs provides the level eclectic atmosphere paired with well themed and high quality bites as Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar. This lounge sits right on the Sassagoula River with picturesque views of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and its outdoor seating provides the perfect venue to experience the nightly live music at Disney Springs. Jock Lindsey was Indiana Jones' pilot and subsequently, the bar has an Indiana Jones and Aviator based theme. It's interior is decorated with Indiana Jones and Lucasfilm easter eggs. Safe to say this is the perfect bar or eatery for an Indiana Jones or Lucasfilm fan. Considering we'd never filmed a formal review here, we considered the release of their new menu as the perfect time to showcase this unique Disney Springs bar. Originally opening in 1988 with the Grand Floridian as an Italian Restaurant called, Flagler's, Citricos changed its theme, name and cuisine in 1997. NEW Menu at Gasparilla Island Grill | Is it Better? Disneys Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Theme Park Foodies 2024-07-15 | The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is Walt Disney World's flagship hotel. With the exterior architecture resembling the famous Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego and the interior decor created to encapsulate the aesthetic of Victorian Era England, this is the priciest hotel on property. Subsequently, most patrons expect high end cuisine from the restaurants. Although, for the quick service restaurant here, Gasparilla Island Grill, its offerings haven't always met expectations. Gasparilla Island Grill has some of the best views of Cinderella's Castle and a few unique menu items. Fans of this quick service restaurant have in years past, enjoyed their famous Blackened Chicken Sandwich and Cuban Sandwich. However, Walt Disney World recently revamped the menus at the majority of their resort restaurants. The Blackened Chicken and Cuban are no more. Replaced with a new Chicken Club, Korean Bowl and Buffalo Chicken Flatbread. Italian cuisine and culture has been a hallmark offering at not only Walt Disney World but the majority of theme parks throughout the world and few do it well. We've had varying experiences with Italian Restaurants at Walt Disney World and a few years ago we started a series where we attempt to find the best Italian restaurant at the most magical place on Earth. We've dined at Trattoria Al Forno, Il Mulino, and Via Napoli thus far. Before we filmed this video, Il Mulino was our favorite but many of our subscribers had stated Ravello at the Four Seasons Orlando was unquestionably the best. Ravello imports the majority of its ingredients from Italy along with making its pasta and gelato in-house daily. The Four Seasons Orlando is located inside Walt Disney World's exclusive high end housing development, Golden Oak. Most single night stays at this resort go for well above $1,000 dollars. New items here include Boss Baby Beignets, Ogreroni Pizza, Strawberry Softpaws, & Can’t Stop the Donut. At Universal Orlando's shopping and dining district, CityWalk, the quick service restaurant, Bread Box, has had some changes of its own. Often regarded as one of the higher quality quick service restaurants at Universal, Bread Box made the decision to revamp its entire menu. The only item that wasn't cut was the Hot Vegan Sandwich. Best & Worst NEW Magic Kingdom Eats! Walt Disney World Theme Park Foodies 2024-07-04 | Magic Kingdom is the most visited theme park in the world. Renowned for its rides, iconic architecture, cleanliness and nostalgic atmosphere. However, the snacks have never been the star of the show. That's not to say that Mickey Pretzels, Churros, Popcorn, and Dole Whip aren't iconic, but, the cuisine offered at Magic Kingdom often pales in comparison to its sister parks like Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Due to this, there've been a limited amount of fan favorite staples like the Chicken & Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hallow Refreshments and Gaston's Tavern Ham & Cheese that fans have gone back to time and time again. However, a few weeks ago, Walt Disney World revamped Magic Kingdom's quick service and snack offerings. Gone are the famous Sleepy Hallow Waffles, replaced with new Mickey Waffles. The Gaston's Tavern Ham & Cheese was transformed into a tart and there have been an array of new offerings at select locations across the park. These new offerings include a new iteration of Tiana's Famous Beignets, Gumbo and Chicken at Golden Oak Outpost. There's also a brand new Creme Brulé Croissant at Gaston's Tavern. Disneys Boardwalk Resort Theme Park Foodies 2024-07-01 | This is part 4 of our 5 part series where we dine at all of our favorite Walt Disney World Restaurants to see which we believe is the best. Disney's Boardwalk Resort is designed to replicate the aesthetic of a turn of the 20th Century Atlantic City Boardwalk. Complete with creepy nanny chairs, antique furnishings and a real Boardwalk that includes numerous shops and eateries. Among these eateries resides Flying Fish. This restaurant is named after a rollercoaster train that resided within a ride called The Flying Turns at Knoebels Amusement Park in Pennsylvania. While the interior of the restaurant does include subtle nods to its parent resort's theme, the dining area is more upscale. Including blue accents, fish themed utensils and grand chandeliers that include fish in an aquatic environment. The menu specializes in seafood with classic American fare. Our first experience here was on the 3 year anniversary of our YouTube channel. We dined here at the suggestion of our subscribers and we were blown away. Since then, we've been back multiple times and consider this to be one of Walt Disney World's most consistent restaurants. When we created a top 5 we knew this had to be on the list. The architecture of Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is inspired by the Western Frontier and turn of the 20th century National Park Lodges. Roaring Fork compliments this theme with adorned fishing artifacts as well as indoor and outdoor seating that resemble picnic tables. This quick service restaurant is situated right next to Silver Creek Falls which helps to immerse guests into believing their dining on fresh caught game and classic camping comfort food. While the current menu doesn't include any notable fish entrees, many new menu items were recently added. Safe to say, when we heard George Miliotes was premiering some seasonal new offerings at his signature restaurant, we knew we had to go. NEW Menu at Bar Riva! Disney Worlds Hidden Gem at Disneys Riviera Resort Theme Park Foodies 2024-05-20 | Numerous highly themed bars and lounges are scattered throughout Walt Disney World property and, surprisingly enough, some of Disney's best cuisine is hidden at these famous watering holes. Plenty fans sing the praises of places like Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar, Tambu Lounge and Scat Cat's Lounge but Bar Riva seems to slip under the radar. Opening with Disney's Riviera Resort in 2019, Bar Riva sports an open air covered patio with blue accents that help to compliment it's Mediterranean theme. The menu combines classic American fare with Mediterranean inspired dishes. When we first dined here we were incredibly impressed. Since this bar is only a short Skyliner ride from Epcot, we'll often skip dining at Epcot and take a breezy ride to the Riviera instead for lunch. Due to us being big fans of the food here, we felt inclined to stop by one of our favorite bars in Walt Disney World to try out some of the brand new menu items. Review at Disneys California Adventure Park Theme Park Foodies 2024-05-06 | When you walk into Disney's California Adventure Park the first notable icon is the Carthay Circle Restaurant. Located at the end of Buena Vista Street, this signature table service restaurant is designed to match the architecture and look of the famous Carthay Circle Theater. This theater is where Walt Disney, and what came to be known as The Walt Disney Company, experienced their first monumental achievement with the successful premier of Snow White and the 7 Dwarves. The interior of the restaurant doesn't stay true to the recreation of the theater but still captures the elegance of the design. Throughout the restaurant, classic photographs of Walt Disney and his monumental successes adorn the walls. We had been trying to dine at this restaurant for years and finally had the opportunity our last trip to Disneyland. We go over the theme, cuisine, decor, atmosphere, service and everything The Carthay Circle restaurant has to offer. At the end we see how this nostalgic California Adventure icon compares to other table service restaurants we've experienced at the Disneyland Resort. How Great Is Great Maple? NEW Disneyland Resort Restaurant at The Pixar Place Hotel Theme Park Foodies 2024-05-02 | With the retheme of the Paradise Pier Hotel to the Pixar Place Hotel came a brand new interior restaurant, Great Maple - A Modern American Eatery.This California based restaurant chain focuses on modern American cuisine with flavors that pay homage to California's culinary history. While the restaurant itself has a more modern aesthetic, The Pixar Place iteration compliments the theme of its resort by adjourning the walls with serious self portraits of differing Pixar characters. Since we were supposed to be staying at the Pixar Place Hotel we couldn't pass up the opportunity to dine here and get a complete idea of everything this resort has to offer. We tried out their signature dishes, drank some of their renowned coffee and scored some in-house made doughnuts to see if Disneyland Resorts newest restaurant is worth the hype.
