I have been accused of rolling up on the scene and shouting profanities at the police. As you will notice, I do not utter a word of profanity until AFTER Sergeant Gillesie of the Parma Police Department, assaults me.It happens around 1:45 in the video. You can see Sgt. Gillesie approach in a very aggressive manner and then assault me trying to knock my camera out of my hand. After his unsuccessful attempt to disarm me of my camera, this officer is assaulting me and at least five cops stand around watching. Then they have the gall to arrest me for being disorderly.At the moment of arrest, Officer Khueler, badge #20, is Sgt. Gillesie's co-conspirator in this unlawful arrest. You may remember him from when Ademo and I caught him hiding behind a dentist's office on Broadview Rd. in Parma. He pulled over a man in front of us and then told us not to harass the man he just pulled over. Officer Khueler started this whole situation, Sgt. Gillesie, unnecessarily escalated the situation for no reason to the point of assault and eventually arrest.I had a F-ck the Police sticker from the Copblock.org store on my phone when they stole it, now it is missing, so one of them took it off while it was in their custody! So I ask you. After looking at this unedited video, do you think I belong in a cage or was Sgt. Gillesie the one who belonged in a cage? I get assaulted and then I am arrested for it. I ask the people of Parma and Ohio, is this the service you would pay for if they weren't collecting the fee from behind a gun?This video could have been titled, "Hero cop saves kid" but instead, because of police abuse of power, it's gonna be, "Sgt. Gillesie assaulted DEO for no reason". Say what you will about me, but forget for a minute that it is me. Pretend it is you. Would you expect to be arrested in this situation?

He is due out in 7 months having been credited for time already served. The judge in his case, Judge Robert S. Fischer agreed with Freeman that he should be allowed to put whatever substance in his body he so chooses, yet still sentenced him to prison.In the land of the free, this is not freedom. Freeman has a medical prescription from Colorado and Ohio is supposedly a medical marijuana state. In addition, Ohio will also have full legalization on this years ballot. Unfortunately it will not pass in time to afford my friend any clemency.Isn't it unfortunate that we live in a world where a person has a medical prescription for cannabis, he is in a medically legal state, and even the sad excuse we call a president is saying to legalize marijuana, yet people are still be locked up for it? A world where police still make a big PR propaganda spectacle of marijuana arrests like they are stopping crime in some way by arresting peaceful people for engaging in freedom.Well here's some evidence photos they didn't have the sack to tout on their facebook page.(Where they post almost all marijuana busts with the evidence on the hood of their cars surrounded by all their gear.)The sad joke that is Ohio's medical marijuana law doesn't even recognize Colorado's doctors prescriptions. There is no reciprocity built into it like there are with, gun laws, driving laws, and just about any other law that span several states. Who enacted this stupid version of a medical law?John Kasich that's who! All by himself with no input from Ohio voters, he just said one day after issue 3 failed (which would've effectively legalized marijuana in Ohio if it weren't for the smear campaign against it,) "This is what you got now, tough shit if you don't like it!" Did I mention the Ohio government agencies charged with rolling out this program have until September 2018 to get it done? Well, September is only a couple months away, and they are talking about it like it wont be done in time. Guess who's gonna suffer if it doesn't roll out in time? Adult users and medical patients alike! Do you think there will be any consequences for the agencies responsible? Of course not!When do we lose the hypocrisy and just legalize it across the board? Why are we waiting for so called lawmakers and leaders to get their cut before we just take our freedom back? They got billions of dollars already. Today I am going to show you how to make a pizza. Pizza is an easy recipe to complete. Pizza can be made anyway you like it, but for our purpose here, I will be making a pepperoni, sausage, green pepper and onion pizza pie. Starting by showing you how to stretch your dough, and ending with a slice of heaven for your pallet. Ingredients:DoughSauceCheesepepperoniGreen/Red/Orange/Yellow Peppers1/2 onion2 Cloves GarlicMild Pepper RingsItalian Seasoning(Blend of Oregano, Parsley, Basil)Pecorino/Romano Cheese GratedAfter you stretch the dough, start assembling. Put a layer of sauce down. Start with the edges and work it around to cover the middle. Then add sliced Garlic so it melts all that delicious garlic flavor into the crust. Add a thin layer of cheese, and start topping.Add the green pepper sausage and onion to it, then another layer of cheese. This prevents your veggies from being burnt by being on top of the pizza. After that add a layer of pepperoni. Pepperoni tends to shrink when cooked so if you want total coverage, make sure all the pieces of pepperoni are touching on all sides. Now you can add the pepper rings. They tend to cook better on top.Sprinkle on some Italian seasoning, and grate some Pecrino/Romano on top. If you like Parmesan, feel free to use that instead of the Pecorino/Romano.Slide that sucker in the oven for about 15 minutes, and check it. When it is looking half cooked, pop it back in the oven on the top rack to crisp the crust and the pepperoni for another 7 minutes. Protesters plan on taking to the streets again to demand justice for Tamir Rice and Tanisha Anderson. It has been 14 months since Tamir was shot, and it doesn't look like any justice will befall his killers. The only chance is a civil lawsuit filed by the Rice family, but with Cleveland attempting to weasel out of paying money to victims of police brutality they already owe, I don't see any justice coming for Tamir.Dr. King would be proud to see that a year later protesters are once again taking to the streets to continue to demand justice for police abuse. As we see, it is not a problem that is exclusive to Cleveland. Pepper Pike officer charged, East Cleveland officers charged, Erie County sherrif is under the magnifying glass as well. Unfortunately for law enforcement, some people are not waiting for justice to come through the courts. An officer was killed in Danville yesterday in an unprovoked attack. Loss of life is sad but, law enforcement need only to look at themselves in the mirror as to why.Today was uneventful as the police shouted veiled threats at protesters along the route. The march went down W 3rd to the Rock and roll hall of fame, and back up E9th then up to the casino. The protesters then marched back down to the justice center and dispersed. I think Martin Lujther King Jr. would be proud.

A year without Tamir greaterclevelandcopblock 2015-11-24 | Over this past weekend, I have been attending Tamir Rice Protests, Vigils, and meetings focused on the police brutality problem in Cleveland. Yesterday a group of protesters and Tamir's family gathered outside the Justice Center downtown. The demand is that prosecutor McGinty step aside from this case. He has over the past year, proven he is incapoable of prosecuting law enforcment. He will stop at nothing to prosecute you, unless you are a cop.At the meeting on Saturday, we were joined by Samaria Rice, Tamir's mother, and her lawyer Subodh Chandra. Chandra went over all the details of the fight he has had against the prosecutors office who refuses to release evidence pertinent to the case to him. He will not even answer his inquiries. They have not followed standard procedures and have gone as far as to berate the Rice family publicly. He has leaked report by his friends who he calls experts, a move Chandra calls, "Improper for a lawyer to do," but since it's not against the law, he gets away with it. Since he works for the state, he will not be held accountable for it.McGinty has attacked the Rice family and their attorneys publicly. He claims to not have heard about Judge Adrian's ruling that criminal charges should be filed against the officers. A letter was sent to his office about it to which of course, he did not respond to. His sworn testimony in the Brelo case is in direct contrast to his views on the Tamir Rice case. In Brelo's case, he testified that "An officer should assess the situation, not rush in and start firing." Isn't that what he should be saying about this case?This Prosecutor has been sabotaging this case's potential for prosecution. If a prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, why have officers Loehmann and Garmback not been charged yet?It has been one year to the day that Tamir Rice was murdered while playing in a playground. Timothy has treated this case like he is a first year law student, not a seasoned prosecutor. The entire Cleveland justice system seems to be trying to sweep this case under the rug since the beginning. The judges in Cleveland are backing the prosecutors. The prosecutors are backing the cops, and the cops back each other. It is a perfect system of corruption in Cleveland, and no one is doing anything about it.Case after case gets settled in other parts of the country. It didn't take a year to charge Micheal Slegr with the murder of Walter Scott. It did not take a year to charge the murderers of Freddie Grey in Baltimore. Why is justice taking so long in Cleveland? Is it because the people of Cleveland are not being aggressive enough? I have been to a great many protests in Cleveland, and the main difference is the extremes to which the people of other cities are willing to go to get the justice they deserve. I have seen how the Cleveland police laugh at the protesters here. They think it is a joke. When Tamir was shot, the focus was taken from the Anderson case.

We went to chalk Cleveland police headquarters downtown and we ran into Sgt Peters. You may remember him from such videos as,my NORML rally video and, "71protesters get arrested in Cleveland. He was cordial with me to a point. He told me one day at the Brelo protests that he just wanted peace in Cleveland. Later that night, Ademo captures him as the head man in charge that night when 71 protesters were illegally arrested for following police orders. Cleveland police have a history of arresting protesters for nothing. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday, they arrested several protesters for crossing an arbitrary line they implemented during the protest. How ironic that during a peaceful march on MLK's birthday, the Cleveland police were the ones bringing the violence with no remorse."If they would only ostersize the officers that kill people and violate their rights", is a phrase I hear from Ademo time and time again. In our chalking video you will see how Sgt Peters changes his tone when talking to us this time. He also goes and tries to be slick by poking his car out of an alley across the street to watch us. Senseless Killing In Orange Mass greaterclevelandcopblock 2015-06-20 | ORANGE MASS- Tragedy struck this evening in the small town of Orange Massachusetts. The Athol Daily News today reported that police, responding to a fire alarm, that turned out to be a cricket. Bad luck for the cricket as it turns out as the responding officer killed the cricket. The Athol paper reports: "5:30 A.M.- Report of a fire alarm in building 12 on E River St. Officer arrived on scene, determined the noise to be a cricket. Officer killed cricket, noise stopped.Unfortunately the police always escalate situations to the extreme end. CopBlock was the first on the scene, and was able to talk to the family of the deceased. " He was such a good boy," said Mrs. Cricket. His brother was not as naive as to the reality of his brother's situation. "He was hanging out with a bad crowd of Grasshoppers and it was all downhill from there!"CopBlock was at the police station to cover the massive cricket picket in front of the building. DEO went in to file a public records request for the report and any the officers names and any dashcam video they may have. He was informed by the clerk, "We don't have those." Refering to the dashcams. DEO also found out that they do not have tasers either, which is probably why death was the only option for the poor gryllidae. The police posted the event on the Orange polices' facebook page. They brought out the bearcat, the bomb squad, the helicopter, the dogs. They fingerprinted children, opened up the justice center to tours, (still no filming inside though!) had games. But we at Greater Cleveland Cop Block, could not let them just have all the fun! We had to make sure people had both sides of the story.That other side is that while Parma has a good apprehension rate, they still have officers like Manzo and OGrady on the force. Officers who will lie in court, on their reports and to your face! Officers that value the code of silence of the thin blue line that permeates police departments everywhere, over peoples rights. Officers who feel they should have the power to "slap people around" when they feel it's warranted.People need to understand the police are allowed to lie to you, while you lying to them is a crime. People need to realize the mean face of their local police department that accompanies the nice face they put on with fairs like this to get people to trust them. Parma is not a "bad" police department, but they do employ a few guys that I would not want to meet on the streets without having a video camera on me!A short list of Parma cops that do not fit with the theme of this safety fair, or Parma polices' own mission statement, is as follows. :James Manzo- Brutalized a 16 year old kid. The department settled out of court for 40000 dollars. Still working. Thinks it's a joke.Thomas Ogrady- K9 cop. I have personal experience with him lying to cover his ass on my arrest while I was blocking a checkpoint in Parma. He has been fired and rehired to the Parma police force once before. The scariest part of him being a K9 officer is he is training other K9 officers.Seminak?- He sits on private property, where he can not see people who stop at the stop sign on Tuxedo ave. He then tickets people for not coming to a complete stop at the sign. He has been witnessed by me not using turn signals, speeding, illegally parking, using his lights to blow red lights, and not coming to a complete stop at stop signs. All offenses that, while I think they are victimless crimes, he has been rolling around Parma citing people for the same things!Stasiak- Has not heard the Supreme Court decision that allows people to flip off cops. Pulled a friend over for it. Parma court dismissed the case immediately when he showed up with a lawyer. Also a motorcycle cop that thinks his motorcycle can be driven and parked on the sidewalk.Then there is the other motorcycle cop that parks his motorcycle on the sidewalk, trying to hide behind bushes to take radar. There are others, who's names I do not know at this time, that I have witnessed pulling a lot of the same stunts, but don't worry boys. I'll find out who you are sooner or later!The message I have for all cops in the Greater Cleveland Cop Block area is, "If you would betray your oath to protect your buddies who break the law. Complaint Form Request Draws Police Hostility greaterclevelandcopblock 2015-04-18 | I was greeted at first by a very cordial officer named Munez.(Sorry if Im not spelling it right) I asked him about filing a complaint on an officer and after a minute of back and forth about signing in, he gave me a complaint form to take home with me. I was jut about to leave when Sgt. Mone came out, cell phone camera in hand. He seemed to not know how to operate his own camera, but was filming me and asking me questions nevertheless.What's your name? Come sign in for me?" And so on. At one point he puts his hands on me and tries to guide me toward the sign in sheet. I had the right to defend myself at that point but chose to just wSnapshot 2 (4-18-2015 5-53 PM)arn him to take his hands off! You see? This is the response to people who just want to ask questions of the Cleveland police that patrol the streets of Cleveland, often viciously.Harrasment, intimidation, and threats of arrest is what folks have to deal with just to file a compalint. If I had actually had a compaint, and I was under stress from the encounter in the first place, and I come to file a complaint and got this reaction? I probably wouldn't follow through with filing the complaint. It is only because I am who I am and have chosen not to be afraid of these shitbags anymore, that I am able to get over that and still follow through. Normal people who don't have interactions with the police regularly will tend to say "fuck it" and consider the matter closed. They will not go back, or ask to speak to a supervisor, or anything else. They will simply leave pissed off.So what are the people of Cleveland supposed to do? Just simply trust the city council and the police department when they say that the body cameras are coming and they will solve these police brutality problems? As you can see from this video, some officers don't give a shit they are on camera. Some of them want to be on camera. Trying to use Waze to Find Cops greaterclevelandcopblock 2015-03-12 | It's not as easy as it sounds. The Cops have been bitching about the Waze app and it's ability to tell the public where they are. So I wanted to see if the concern was valid. As usual. It is not! It's a lot harder to use the app when you are not driving. What I found was that a lot of times, by the time I get the alert and head to the location, the cop is gone. Nine times out of 10 I get there and I see the cop heading in the other direction. I got lucky today though. At rush hour they were out in force. At least three different cars in my neighborhood.What I did find was our good buddy Officer James Manzo, illegally parked in a Parma park, sponging off the taxpayers of Parma yet again. It's funny, he never wants to talk when there are cameras around, but he always has a snide remark, or a sarcastic wave and smile if he notices I'm not filming at the time. Keep him employed Parma.
