About Jenny Jing's Demo:
The dip pen is a handy tool in many ways:
• It creates a variety of line weights with different shapes of nibs. Moreover, the wood stick edge could create very bold lines.
• It creates ink drops and sometimes even some happy mistakes.
• It works well with a watercolor wash.
• It could easily capture the characteristics of tree branches which are challenging to many urban sketchers.
Jenny will demonstrate how to sketch with dip pens and a watercolor wash while referencing a video clip taken in Buenos Aires, which will include foreground trees, people, and background buildings.
