You take a photo of the man’s phone and report the incident to the British Transport Police. They act quickly, board the train and arrest the man. This happened last September. The man is David Johnson and he was charged with 9 counts of offences against a child. He had been trying to arrange to meet a 13 year old for sex, had a phone wallpaper showing a child in a sexual way and, when arrested, asked for his phone back as he “had to delete some stuff”. Johnson pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison. Under the new rules in the UK, he could be out in just 9 months.
