I want to be careful with this video and be clear that what I'm describing here is far from a comprehensive overview of what trauma is or how we overcome it. BUT this is way of framing and looking at trauma has helped me TREMENDOUSLY in contextualizing my own, as well as understanding what needs to happen to overcome its most adverse effects. So I wanted to share the perspective, in case it helps anybody else, too!
