If your car battery in your Subaru is dead, your key fob will not be able to unlock the doors. Except Subaru has hidden a secret key inside your key fob. Just push a button to release the backup key and you can unlock the car, open the hood and recharge the battery.

We thought we had a spare key in our house somewhere, but when we couldn't find it, we called a locksmith. But that's not necessary because we had the physical key the entire time.
