Today we're checking out one of the most unique and eye-catching watches I've come acros the Geya Planetary Flywheel Mechanical Watch (G78182), priced at around $549.
Design & Build
This watch immediately stands out with its heavily complicated dial movement. The case back features a beautifully embossed astronaut design, and the side profile shows off its bulky, premium build. The body is made of solid stainless steel, paired with a genuine leather strap and Geya's signature branding on the buckle.
The Twist – Quartz Heart, Mechanical Soul
Here's what makes this watch so interesting: the time is actually displayed on a small quartz clock on the left-hand side, powered by standard quartz cell technology. The large, complicated flywheel movement you see dominating the dial is purely decorative it runs on a manual winding mechanism (you wind it using the rear key) and lasts approximately 48 hours per wind. It has zero connection to actual timekeeping but gives the watch an incredibly expensive, high-end look.
