I wanted to try a hand at a remix of this song. I tried to keep things mostly in spirit with the original while sprinkling in some different instruments for certain sections. I'm hoping that I was able to convey the vibe of the original instruments just using the built-in garageband plugins and Touhou soundfont instruments.

also while I'm writing this, I got a copyright claim on this video, yay...
looking at the claimers (Materia Music Publishing), this might be legit, though they claimed I was using music from a hopes and dreams metal cover? I think I'll make a dispute just to make sure things are right. I'll tell you guys the news once I get a response, for now, ya gotta deal with ads that might play in this video.
