Damage calculation (per hit): Emily's Str = 20 Brave Lance = 10 Fire X Fire (Bradley A) = 6 Fire X Fire (Marcie B) = 4 Fire X Anima (Patty B) = 3 Fire X Ice (Luceil B) = 2 Fleuret = 5 (also 5 Spd) Teodros' Def = -25 Final Damage = 25

Emily is truly the granddaughter of Dean the Slayer.Dumbest 1-turn clear ever.thesiaoz2024-10-03 | I got annoyed by Yufin's Darklight on multiple occasions due to him still somehow receiving damage after using another tome (that ran out of uses after combat), so I decided to test other things, and well, more exploits I found.
Certain weapon skills can be practically used by anyone as long as they are on the first slot. Along with Outrider (and Charge) exploit, I saw the potential of Sarah defeating any boss as long as she had the accuracy, which the romhack coincidentally enabled the player to do so by having buyable skill books/goddess icons during prep, so yeah.
Given that both Jeremy and Nicole have base Mag here, it's possible to 1-turn this with 0% growths. The Four Kings - Endgamethesiaoz2024-09-29 | Indeed, who would wanna buy Luna when the final boss is this easy?
The only thing to look out for is the fleet, which can be sniped on turn 1, making this a regular map afterwards. It's just a race to the NPCs before Teodros escapes, which isn't that difficult if you have no issues with the previous chapter.
Having Candace will make the bossfight even easier, since +5Atk/Spd is broken with brave weapons. If you still struggle with the boss and ran out of options, just use Sarah's glitched Prf for an instant win, but make sure to boost her accuracy and supports for good measure.
---
The romhack has one of the best deployment count throughout most chapters, given that I can use everyone for most of the time and then pick my best units for endgame.
The level design also has a puzzle-like element where each unit has a specific path to deal with certain enemies with their unique Prfs, but sadly the game is full of exploits due to the unbalanced nature of the Prfs. Halfway through, the romhack loses most of that puzzle-element and relies more on the broken Prfs than actual strategy later on. Support bonuses are broken for some affinities, where stacking them will basically trivialize many things.
I'll go in-depth with my issues with the Prfs since the other things are already mentioned in their respective chapters.
Lore-wise, we have Yufin's Prf, which is supposed to be a "cursed but powerful" tome, but it is only decent after he gets enough Spd to double with it, he even struggled to double a knight early on. Then comes Sally's Prf which outright powercreeps the former's Prf, while being a "simple" tome as explained in her supports with Alicia.
Gameplay-wise, there's Emily's Prf, where it gets a wary fighter effect. The problem with it is that she can't actually tank anything until she gained enough stats, and by then, she gained enough Spd but now she couldn't double anything with it, making the effect practically useless. The effect is much better if given to a slow tank like Hoff, who even had problems tanking 2 silver sword mercs early on.
Unlike Shelby/Hoff, who still requires growth to continue to tank stronger enemies in later chapters, Vin is untouchable since his recruitment chapter and the enemy don't even have increased hit rates over time. Not only that, Vin could easily reach 20/20 as long as you have the patience to keep ending turns for 1 EXP per dodge, even on his recruitment chapter. The enemy needs higher accuracy over time so it feels like Vin is growing as a unit too.
There are more examples like Zoe's Prf and obviously Sarah's but you get the point, the weapons need rebalancing so every character actually feels useful rather than using the same few broken units to deal with most chapters. The Four Kings - Chapter 27thesiaoz2024-09-28 | The dreaded fortify EXP bug is here, luckily there's no levelup.
Really nothing much here other than defeating the 3 bosses, basically a statcheck for your endgame team. The fortify staff bots are also there to slow things down, but there shouldn't be too much of an issue since I am able to do it in 3 turns with the fact that I wasted a character slot on something totally unnecessary.
---
Questionable placement of Feran/Teodros and the passable terrain around them. While the objective doesn't require doing anything to the both of them, but since I played this for the first time, I thought the 5-turn defeat boss chapter includes defeating Teodros. Given that status staves have 100% accuracy here and can reach Feran/Teodros, plus the fact that level designs in this romhack having a puzzle element made me deploy Jeremy and wasted his Prf plus a berserk staff for absolutely no reason.
Well, at least I found my final anima user without having to train Chase. The Four Kings - Chapter 26thesiaoz2024-09-27 | The usual stuff, now with a turn limit and a magic seal that doesn't fully seal magic damage.
This is a seize chapter, with the usual siege attacks and reinforcement to stall your progress, and you are only given 15 turns. This is actually pretty easy if you have saved some silence/sleep staves previously. Rushing through only one path also makes this a lot easier since you don't have to split your army.
---
While Zoe's Prf is broken, it is not as busted as a Prf with a glitched skill, you'd probably know where it's from by now. The glitched damage is so high that even if someone else can support every playable character in the romhack and get ALL the bonuses at A support, said unit is still nowhere close in doing the same damage as the glitched Prf.The Four Kings - Chapter 25thesiaoz2024-09-26 | Almost lost an hour's worth of babysitting due to a simple mistake. I guess RNG is being fair after that 97% miss.
This is a defeat boss chapter, with reinforcements appearing only as you move closer. Even the enemy movement is based on the same, in other words, this is a turtle chapter if you want to have an easier time.
Sadly, Virgil isn't that strong at this point. Furthermore, Zoe can get an absolutely busted Prf that rivals any recent FEH Prf just by talking to Virgil. Kinda disappointed with the bossfight because Zoe's Prf made it too easy, it's basically Roy VS Idunn.
---
So many sword users.. I just realized I don't have a single anima user in my current team, maybe it's time to bring back my little bosskiller. The Four Kings - Chapter 24thesiaoz2024-09-25 | Another FoW chapter.
This is a pretty short chapter given the objective, but can be a little annoying as you have to deal with the NPCs getting dumber over time. They refused to enter their houses during a bandit raid, and you have to prevent them from getting attacked by the incoming bandits.
Nothing much to this other than getting to Marvin before the reinforcements overwhelm you.
---
Recently every chapter is about Walter getting Ava to sleep with him whenever she's feeling down, and later on another character will somehow comment about them being like a couple. Hopefully he can stop being a horndog, especially when a certain character just joined the party. The Four Kings - Chapter 23thesiaoz2024-09-24 | Final prep plus double arena chapter. I was so into the arena that I almost neglected the shopping part.
The stuff worth buying the most are the brave weapons, they are really cheap considering how you can still easily fix your accuracy later with the prep shop and the silver card. That's why I didn't sell certain things, just in case for emergency.
Sadly, the deployment count is kinda low, and along with the stupid wall in the middle that requires my fliers to pass around the silver card, this actually contains less total arena abuse compared to the previous prep chapter despite having another arena, which caused a little problem for me near the end. Oh well.
---
I guess there is yet another exploi-, I mean intended gameplay given the conversation between the brothers. Also kinda surprised the RNG blessed Ava couldn't double against a fimbulvetr sage. The Four Kings - Chapter 22thesiaoz2024-09-23 | Despite having brave weapon reinforcements, this chapter surprisingly easy. Maybe they can't handle the weight.
The objective is to talk to Terril, there are 2 paths to take, with the right side for a shortcut to the sidequests, stealing the energy ring from the general and the loots from the thief.
Despite most of the enemies wielding brave weapons, they have average bulk and have reduced Spd due to the Wt of brave weapons, so even your average Spd units are able to double them quite easily. The NPCs are quite bulky so it's relatively safe to take it slow to advance until their weapon count starts to run out.
Given that the reinforcements are mostly unpromoted units, this is actually a good training ground for Emily, well since I can't predict the future on their spawn location and unit type so I'm not risking it.
---
Maybe I should start babysitting Emily and see how she will turn out.The Four Kings - Chapter 21thesiaoz2024-09-22 | Escape chapter.
With nothing to steal here, and only a house to visit, there's not really too much to do here. The only real difficulty is who to bring along for this chapter.
---
Too many sword users. The Four Kings - Chapter 20thesiaoz2024-09-21 | Another seize chapter with siege/status spam and reinforcements, luckily the long-range stuff is only for the left half of the map.
There are two sidequests, one is an item on the left, the other is to have Gideon talk to the 2 advisors on the right, both should be done within 10 turns. Since there are no breakable walls for the split groups to reunite, the character placement is crucial here.
The boss has a brave weapon with resolve skill. While I'm not entire sure about the latter's effect, but good thing is he's still stuck to melee, so use any ranged unit and chip him down and that's about it. The real difficult part is how to deal with the enemies where they aren't on the same path as Vin.
---
I guess it's the same routine until endgame, just with a different sidequest each time. The Four Kings - Chapter 19thesiaoz2024-09-21 | The chapter with the highest enemy spam.
This is a seize chapter with the typical siege + reinforcements, and even more enemy units will spawn as you advance farther. Unlock the right door so Ladon can deal with some of them, but be prepared the NPCs might not do what they are really intended to since they are Ladon's units. Talking to Ladon also does pretty much nothing so don't bother moving Walter/Jack to him.
Anyway, there's nothing much to the difficulty, just a test of patience of how many enemy units you can deal with before you get tired of it. I avoided dealing with the massive enemy spam at the end with the same way, turtle a little so everyone is as close to the castle door before I open it. There might be another way to do it but I'm not gonna risk triggering the final spawn event prematurely.
As for the bosses, Rhiner is simply weak against magic, while you need some stat check to deal with Viper in a single combat as he's deceptively bulky.
---
Recently, the things I enjoyed doing here are mostly the sidequests, here it's the 15-turn house visit. Other than that, all I'm doing now is just trying to cut corners (mostly wasting time to bait out siege attacks and status staves). The Four Kings - Chapter 18thesiaoz2024-09-19 | I did something probably no one has attempted before. Yeah, the thumbnail.
It's the usual siege attacks and reinforcement spam, but a defeat boss chapter with an annoying map layout. I guess the intended way is to use an expendable unit to bait out Ian, but since I did not promote a certain character, the so-called intended way doesn't really exist.
Wyverns will keep spawning from the top, which isn't much of a deal since you have lots of counters given the team composition in this group, just real tedious due to the limited movement with the map terrain.
The only real difficulty is how to bait Ian without accidentally taking him out (for the shield), especially if a certain character is stuck somewhere else due to circumstances.
---
Fragile healer girl becomes a tank. The Four Kings - Chapter 17thesiaoz2024-09-18 | Brace yourselves, reinforcements are coming. Even when exploiting the outrider skill, this is still tedious.
Initial bolting sage and constant cavalry reinforcements appearing are really tedious to deal with. If you want an easier time like what Lionel mentioned in the ending cutscene, just ignore the treasures and don't bother recruiting Elias/Alicia.
Otherwise, prepare to spend a large amount of time dealing with all the reinforcements or advance as slowly as possible because Zachary is the only person who can pick locks here and it is obvious that door keys aren't really a thing in this game. In other words, this is another turtle map.
Bolting sages will appear on stair tiles if you enter the throne room, but good thing nothing happened here because I tried cramming everything on the same turn so I don't have to deal with them. The boss is extremely easy given that he can't handle the weight of his own Prf, even Sally here could double him.
---
The only highlighted hint in the opening is just about the bolting sages appearing, and NOT the reinforcements appearing as your units advance farther, I only know that when I was adding the captions for the video. Now I don't feel bad for exploiting the outrider glitch. The Four Kings - Chapter 16thesiaoz2024-09-17 | Worst chapter ever. FoW, nonstop reinforcements, siege attacks and all the tedious stuff crammed into one single map.
The objective is to seize the gate, but the above-mentioned things will make the gameplay painfully slow. This might be over 2 hours if it wasn't for me skipping a certain character's combat animation.
It's really weird that Jeremy only mentioned about the bandits from the bottom left, but not the cavalry reinforcements appearing from the top. As for Sarah, she's the only side character (so far) that is given a bonus skill, and by sheer coincidence, it's the one with the most broken exploit too. Maybe this was intended, who knows.
The boss on the other hand, is just disappointing, especially after all that tedious work, wielding a melee weapon with mediocre Spd/Res, any magic user will do the trick.
---
To be honest, promoting the two characters here didn't really make much of a difference, as one of them is just to bait with his Prf, and the other is still the same glass cannon that couldn't double, with the downside being that the EXP gain becomes slower overall. Oh well, at least I got another healer. The Four Kings - Chapter 15thesiaoz2024-09-16 | Terrain restricting chapter with the most unpredictable NPC.
The objective is to defeat the boss, with a side quest of getting bonus items at the bottom right and Walter talking to Ladon & Jack.
For the thieves with the red gems, Lydia's Prf can come in handy once again. As for Ladon & Jack, nothing bad should happen, especially to Ladon before the sage reinforcements arrive, but it is still better to recruit Jack ASAP so he doesn't wander off to the wrong direction.
For the boss, he's not that much of a threat as this point given how many support bonuses my units have been getting.
---
I think I just created a yeet unit by accident, the ironic thing is that said character was initially a glass cannon, but I guess half the reason is the support bonuses. The Four Kings - Chapter 14thesiaoz2024-09-15 | Yet another recruitable sword user, I think I might be playing Myrm Emblem.
Similar to the previous chapter, the objective here is to seize the throne, but there is a sidequest of getting the stolen stuff from the unarmed soldiers, and only Ava can steal them, as they are not droppable. Even if you haven't trained Ava enough, at least there's Lydia's Prf that will allow you to stall for time so Ava can steal all 3 before they escape.
Difficulty wise, this is much easier than the previous chapter, since Walter and Ava can deal with most of the enemies without having to buy a certain type of counter weapon back in the prep chapter. Not only that, having a group with more weapon variety always makes it easier to deal with different enemy types.
The unnamed boss is actually very evasive. Most of my units couldn't even reach 50%, I guess the shop is there so you can beef up your units' accuracy.
---
Wasted a few turns just to find out that the inn does nothing for Candace. Also, not sure what's with the cutscene regarding the original boss, there's nothing happening after the 8 o'clock reinforcements, even after I wasted more turns for siege baiting. The Four Kings - Chapter 13thesiaoz2024-09-14 | Port chapter. Another sword user joins the party, and a unit who should join the chapter before.
Anyway, the objective is to seize the throne, but the high enemy count makes it difficult to pass through, especially when reinforcements are also appearing from both top and below, resulting in a pincer attack.
Most of the difficulty here depends on whether you can predict the future like Virgil. One of them being the initial enemy nearest to Lionel/Zachary being lance/magic foes, so you need to prepare certain weapons back in the prep chapter, otherwise those 2 will have a more difficult time. Another example is the reinforcements appearing from the bottom after several turns. If you have a counter team ready on standby, they won't stand a chance.
Nothing happens afterwards, and since the boss has horrible Spd and bulk, it's pretty much a free win for Marcie.
---
Decided not to promote certain characters yet.The Four Kings - Chapter 12thesiaoz2024-09-13 | Pirate ship chapter.
This chapter can be rather tedious due to flying lance units hovering around and knights blocking the path to the objective, which is to seize the 3 points the bosses are standing on. Not only that, Lionel is stuck on the side without sword foes so his Prf is practically useless.
If you didn't buy any armor-effective weapons or lancereavers back in the prep chapter, the knights can be a pain to deal with, and the pegasus knight reinforcements will mostly like appear before you fight the bosses. Having 4 sword infantry units isn't fun on this map.
The bosses have really high stats, the difficulty really went up a lot compared to the previous chapter.
---
Strangely enough Vin didn't do much this chapter, maybe too many sword users and not enough swords (other than iron ones) to distribute. The Four Kings - Chapter 11thesiaoz2024-09-12 | Seize chapter with some sidequests.
The sidequests are: defeating the berserker with the guiding ring at the bottom left, visit the lone house, and steal the body ring from the priest next to the village.
Of course, there will be something that will hinder progress like the ballista and the myrmidon reinforcements. Afterwards is just fighting the boss with wyvern reinforcements spawning behind him.
---
While I like that I can still use everyone in the current active team, and is still able to switch between their items with the inactive team, but it's still kinda tedious that I have to remove specifically the non-Prfs from the inactive characters, as I don't want to have my characters have absolutely nothing on them if somehow there is a second prison escape chapter with no prep screen. If only there is a "give all but Prf" button. The Four Kings - Intermission (10x)thesiaoz2024-09-11 | 2nd arena chapter, I mean prep chapter.
Normally I would critique about how one character (or should I say the Prf) will never lose an arena fight, but since this romhack features intended solutions, along with the lack of funds during prep chapters so far, I guess this exploit is intended for players just to get more gold to actually buy stuff.
This time the prep chapter takes more time, because I managed to get an average of 4~5 arena matches per turn due to having more units to use.
---
The part with Virgil is weird, it's like he can predict the future that someone will join the party, and how surprised he was when he saw a certain character even after he read all the names in the army list right at the start of the chapter. The Four Kings - Chapter 10thesiaoz2024-09-10 | The longest chapter so far.
The objective is to defeat the 4 bosses, but the defeat conditions can make it kinda tedious, especially the constant flow of enemies that keeps charging toward the forest.
Flying units and thieves won't attack, so you can play rather offensively and keep baiting the other enemy type to lower the enemy count. Let the NPCs get some kills if you want to reduce the workload, just that you have to sacrifice some EXP, they are actually quite competent.
The difficulty to this chapter is just who to place on which side and that's about it, for example, if you place Marcie on the left, she will be near useless given the lack of magic foes and the abundance of bow users. Even if you had the right placement for each unit, the map could still take a while due to the wonky hit rates for low Skl/Luk characters, like Ron or Yufin, unless you early promote or buy the statboosters to increase their chances of hitting.
---
Promotion time for some characters. The Four Kings - Chapter 9thesiaoz2024-09-09 | The desert chapter.
The enemies to look out for are wyverns and the magic users with bolting. Vin as usual can bait multiple ranged enemies at once so the following player phase will be much easier. Each bolting mage has a personal wyvern rider guard, so it's not really safe to let Marcie charge in until the physical foe is dealt with.
Make sure to rush as really strong reinforcements will appear on turn 8.
---
On a side note, it is wise to feed Cielo some skillbooks/goddess icons, as his Prf is very effective here, but not accurate enough. I had to gamble a little since I focused on the ones with lower Skl/Luk growths. The Four Kings - Chapter 8thesiaoz2024-09-08 | Prison escape chapter.
A relatively easy chapter unless you messed up your inventory right before this. The objective is to unlock all the doors and then have everyone escape.
The only difficulty is just how to deal with the killer weapons reinforcements that spawns on turn 12 and/or after unlocking Lionel's cell. With 2 hoplon guards and the narrow passageways, I used the same exploit that I used in my TRTR playthrough to block off a bunch of enemies.
---
I feel like there should be less, but stronger reinforcements. Not only it's easy to reach the enemy limit with the constant enemy spam, watching all 50 foes move can also take some time. Stronger foes mean that I can't easily use my ultimate blocking technique as an exploit, unless I'm actually intended to play that way.The Four Kings - Chapter 7thesiaoz2024-09-07 | Rout chapter. I'm glad there aren't any reinforcements, but also sad that I have to start benching people.
The only difficulty is just protecting the village from the brigands. It requires a bit of RNG with the bow enemies unless you have spare gold to buy some skillbooks to increase the hit rates.
Make sure to bring Marcie and Vin, as they are extremely great baits, so make use of them to stall for time while the rest do their thing.
---
Not sure whether Ron visiting the top right house will get more rewards, oh well. The Four Kings - Chapter 6thesiaoz2024-09-06 | Seize chapter. Also, someone has the worst levelup too.
Anyway, the main objective is to seize the 2 caves occupied by the enemy bosses, the right one wields a melee weapon, so he'll go down eventually with range abuse, the one on the left is weak against Lionel's Prf, so yeah.
There is a clear solution on that bolting mage given who you get previously, even what should happen afterwards is also given to the player.
Walter can recruit Zoe, who can then recruit Vin. While the recruitment order is a little annoying, but Vin's Prf doesn't have much killing potential, so make use of that. The intended solution with the hero crest is rather obvious after dealing with Vin.
---
Overall, another fun puzzle-y map, but it has some exploitable stuff, one of them is that you can actually get Vin to 20/20 here if you have the patience of a saint. The Four Kings - Chapter 5thesiaoz2024-09-05 | Arena chapter, I mean prep chapter. Kinda weird we don't get extra funds, oh well.
Nothing much going on other than buying stuff and abuse the arena for 5 turns. As usual, I'm taking a long time in arena chapters with a turn limit because of trying to maximize arena usage.
Both Marcie and Dorian will appear on turn 1, but the latter requires Lydia to be recruited.
---
Not sure whether I missed anything regarding the inn, I was so focused on the arena that I forgot about it. At least I got a few decent levelups and got back the money I spent on someone. The Four Kings - Chapter 4thesiaoz2024-09-04 | Didn't expect a 56-min gameplay this early, also a 93% miss, sigh.
The chapter is pretty straightforward if you are only aiming for the main objective, which is to seize the throne. The difficult part is getting all the items, on time.
First being the 2 thieves escaping with the bottom treasures, you need to rush in ASAP as there are no room for mistakes here, also you'll need RNG to be nice too if you didn't get decent level ups previously.
Next will be the treasure room in the middle, where only Zachary/Ava can get them, since they don't have canto, so yeah. You don't have the luxury to have Shelby keep baiting until the longbow archers run out of arrows as strong reinforcements will pop up after 11 turns. The middle archer has an energy ring too.
As for the boss, range abuse does work since he starts off with a melee weapon, just that you might have to gamble a few misses.
---
It's kinda weird that we get yet another sword user, we have so many of them already. The Four Kings - Chapter 3thesiaoz2024-09-03 | FoW chapter, with 4 magic recruitment.
The chapter isn't really that difficult with the exception of the boss, who has 15 Spd. Good thing I checked beforehand, otherwise I might lose a unit here.
The same usual stuff, rushing to the villages before the bandits do, so make use of Shelby to take hits and have the rest do the cleaning up afterwards. I guess I didn't play the intended way after halfway through, maybe the chapter was designed for players who actually liked FoW. Oh well.
---
Not a fan of Yufin's Prf, it's like having fury but he takes more damage and actually loses speed instead, due to its weight. Then we have Ava, who obviously receives special treatment given her base stats and a really decent Prf that deals magic damage, which outclassed the magic users in terms of offense. Maybe they will be balanced after promotion. The Four Kings - Chapter 2thesiaoz2024-09-02 | Escape chapter. Not sure whether training everybody will hurt my party in the long run, as I don't know what specific units I have to use in future chapters.
Once again, you are required to use the right units at the right places so you can visit the villages on time. Whenever you see a bunch of sword units, just yeet Lionel over, kinda weird that we have a lance user that is better at baiting bow users than swordies.
The only thing to take note of is the same-turn reinforcement after a few turns. Other than that, it's just getting the red gem before escaping, although I didn't manage to get it due to RNG, sigh.
---
The ending cutscene is kinda weird, I sense some anime logic. Oh well. The Four Kings - Chapter 1thesiaoz2024-09-01 | It's a new month and it's time to play another romhack. This time it's The Four Kings.
The gameplay for chapter 1 is pretty puzzle-y, which is pretty fun as every unit can play a part, although not following the intended way might punish the player with the overwhelming enemy count.
Sadly, lore dumps are kinda meh for me, I'd prefer learning about the lore after getting used to the characters here.
---
As usual, hopefully those who finished this romhack can comment to tell me clues regarding the next chapter, like what to do to recruit a character or getting an item. I don't wanna miss on anything.Boss with 60 stats is easy when you can use exploits for free.thesiaoz2024-08-11 | For Shining Bind's explanation and the calculations of Bianca's hit rates against Bloopy, read the description under the following video (Luna OHKO): youtube.com/watch?v=kFHWSzTlJh0
---
60 stats aren't really that challenging when you can use Shining Bind (Stone) on Bloopy. The skill is a must for most characters to be able to land a hit on Bloopy.
Without using defense-ignoring weapons/skills, several characters can surpass 60 Atk, but Dominic is the only character who can ORKO Bloopy due to his Frenzy skill when he's low on HP.
Calculations (Def): Bloopy Def = +60 Pillar terrain = +1 Seal Defense (Talor) = -6 Bloopy's Final Def = 55
Final Damage = 75 - 55 = 20
---
There are 2 characters here with the Luna skill, Joey and Greg. As long as they can reach 40 Atk, they can OHKO Bloopy with a Luna crit, or ORKO with double Luna crits using a brave weapon which only require 20 total Atk. This works basically the same as wyvern knights' pierce skill in FE8.
In FE8, you can actually use the enemy control glitch and obtain Stone from the gorgons, and you can then OHKO Fomortiis with an Eclipse crit after hitting him with Stone. While I can potentially do the same here, but I didn't expect the romhack to use the FE6 version of Eclipse, which actually deals 99% damage (technically correct since it leaves the enemy with 1HP) instead of the usual 50%, so the damage is much higher than expected.
Basically, so much for all the calculations I did for Dominic when all I need is a simple RNG abuse for Jenna/John to proc an Eclipse crit. Jenna can actually do this unpromoted too, since Eclipse's damage calculation doesn't take her own stats into consideration. Jenna best girl.
---
Anyway, the S rank bow doesn't have effective damage against Bloopy despite its description, so yeah.DLATMOL: Can 3 generals defeat Maximillian?thesiaoz2024-08-01 | In a romhack that has low hit rates, the triangle attack is here to save the day.
The most difficult part about this? Getting Ardoome's axe rank to S before his lance, even getting Wren's sword rank to S is less tedious than this. To be honest, Devil Axe works too but I want to showcase a bossfight without relying on RNG, which is why I went for average growths here.Justice & Pride - Endgame 2 & 3, Epiloguethesiaoz2024-07-22 | Best girl plus best tome.
Both endgame 2 & 3 are just high enemy density cluster, just warp skip, it's not really worth the effort. The only difference between both endgames are the enemy stats, which don't make too much of a difference when it comes to Luna. Once you stack enough relics to make a Luna user double, you are good to go. If you are worried not having one, you have the hermit, who is basically an archsage, so you have a default 30 Pow Luna user. With Krystal, he can double twice for at least 120 damage.
Endgame 3 does have something extra, which is the true final boss, who had higher stats. Don't fully trust the tactics room, Aderyn's Prf is actually kinda useless. Oh, did I mention Luna?
---
This romhack is a good start for players who are new to romhacks, as it is the easiest one I've played so far. With higher unit growths and larger maps, this romhack is geared towards mounted units and early promotion.
When I was a kid, my parents used to tell me not to trust strangers. I think the characters here need that advice, especially Aderyn who basically trust everyone, with the only time that she is being skeptical is when the enemy is a tactician, who should be able to trick Aderyn.
Most of the time, I can't really take the story seriously given how certain characters act, Helga is just one example who keeps contradicting herself when it comes to Ella, her daughter. When Ella is held hostage, Helga fights us. When Ella is with us, Helga still fights us. Like seriously?
The distribution of door/chest keys throughout the game is kind of a mess, overall lacking by the way. Certain weapons have unbalanced fixes, like handaxe had reduced weight but javelin stayed the same, or certain buyable weapons that are kinda iffy are somehow more expensive compared to the better ones.
The arena is also a scam, tougher enemy but give less gold than what you paid for even if you win, so there is no point having it in the first place. Also, sometimes it's kinda bugged, like for Nissa who had an invisible arena fight.
Lastly, the difficulty curve. The game keeps getting easier and easier, espeicially with the endgame being too easy due to the relics, broken characters, warpskips and obviously Luna. Most bosses for some reason are weaker than the regular enemy, especially the snipers/heroes, they are very tedious to deal with without stacking relics. Either nerf the regular enemy or buff the bosses.Justice & Pride - Chapter 28 & Endgame 1thesiaoz2024-07-21 | When the planning time takes longer than the gameplay itself, you know there's gonna be a warp skip.
Anyway, chapter 28 is a defeat boss map that is infested with monsters. Other than the red house at the bottom right, and probably a secret shop, you can just warp skip this as other there are no droppable items on the initial enemy units. Other than the higher HP, the dracozombie is weaker than most bosses so far. Also, Aderyn's Prf is really broken against monsters.
Endgame 1 is yet another defeat boss chapter, but this time the map is insanely huge with a lot of enemies to deal with if you were to advance without warp skip. The only droppable item on the initial enemy unit is a Juna Fruit from Dolph. Anyway, having the hermit and a trained Luigi in your party basically means there's no need to go through all that when you can just warp skip once again. Caelia, while most of her stats are higher than the previous bosses, but Luna exists, so yeah.

Kara is still best girl!
I have a feeling the next few chapters are gonna be warpskips again.Justice & Pride - Chapter 26 & 27thesiaoz2024-07-20 | 2-in-1 with bad RNG galore.
Chapter 26 is a seize gate chapter, siege units everywhere with only a droppable ballista on a regular enemy, so it's better to warpskip this unless there are good stuff hidden in the reinforcements.
Chapter 27 is a defeat boss chapter, with lots of reinforcements, really lots of them. To be honest, it's better to warpskip this too especially when the setup is easier to execute compared to the previous chapter.
---
Should have warpskipped both chapters.Justice & Pride - Chapter 25xthesiaoz2024-07-19 | I "benched" the best girl for this gaiden since she's already at max level, but I didn't know I only have 8 turns to do this. Will I be able to grab all the treasures?
Nothing much to this other than defeating all enemies for the droppable items. Just note that there are no door keys (as usual), so having the 2 thieves might help with the turn limit.
---
Not expecting a second warp staff. I have a feeling the last few maps are gonna be huge.Justice & Pride - Chapter 25thesiaoz2024-07-18 | When recruiting a character takes more brainpower than completing the chapter.
This is a defeat bosses chapter, visiting the houses will grant access to the gaiden chapter, there's also a recruitable character who is positioned near one of the bosses and 2 siege tome users, so yeah.
Both bosses are nothing to worry about, the regular enemies are actually more tedious to deal with. There's also a reinforcement group with door keys that tries to open the door to the left. I'm not sure what it's about, but I'm not gonna gamble a gameover event so I just took them out before they could do that.
---
I really think that the relics will impede growths if the bonuses reach/surpass the stat caps, which is just as annoying as not being able to see the support levels.Justice & Pride - Chapter 24thesiaoz2024-07-17 | When tomebreaker isn't really my weakness anymore.
This is a seize gate chapter with a few villages to visit, and an optional boss to fight. Fliers are great here given the terrain, they can visit villages and retreat easily. Hestia is a recruitable sniper who require Donovan/Phineas to recruit.
Dolph is an optional boss, he has very high stats, with a skillset that counters tome users, but with Luna plus relic stacking, even his tomebreaker skill isn't much of a deal. For Cassandra, just let her use the siege tome and then defeat her during player phase. Her avoid won't be an issue since the weight will slow her down significantly, your unit can double easily, and she couldn't counter to.
---
Flying anima users are fun.Justice & Pride - Chapter 23thesiaoz2024-07-16 | The moment when recruiting one guy adds another hour to the gameplay, I should have stayed oblivious and pretend I didn't read any of the ingame hints. Also, the gorgons here are glitchy, I thought the game is gonna break.
Anyway, there is really nothing to this other than getting items from the boss and the 2 chests on the right, and only one of the items is worth getting. You can easily warpskip this if you have a decent attacker and a thief for the better item.
---
If I didn't have the "gotta -catch- get 'em all" mentality for recruitment, this would be a very short chapter, and you might be able to see the next chapter too.Justice & Pride - Chapter 22thesiaoz2024-07-15 | This is why comments with hints are so important, I found the most important thing in the game.
A seize chapter, and there's nothing much other than recruiting Valentyn if you spared him twice, and the few chests at the top right. The enemies are easier than before so there's nothing to worry about. The boss equips a melee weapon by default, so range abuse will work just fine.
---
Officially broke, and also Teddy time next chapter.Justice & Pride - Chapter 21thesiaoz2024-07-14 | Look who's in the thumbnail, time really flies.
Anyway, this is the high enemy density plus reinforcements chapter. The real difficulty is that certain generic enemies have way higher stats than the bosses, while bandits are approaching the villages which aren't helping much either. To deal with them, either warpskip and defeat the boss and ignoring the villages, or to make use the trade mechanic to swap around the stat items for combat. I picked the latter since I wanted to know what items I can get, but the main reason is to train up the character in the thumbnail.
For the boss himself, he is an 8-move foe with a melee weapon, you can either tank him and then range abuse him on the following player phase, or simply have 8 movement ranged attackers to snipe him before he can even react. Isn't it great that we have so many mounted magic users, well if brooms are considered as mounts too.
---
Now that someone is trained up, I'm not even sure I can even use up half of my physical weapons at this point, maybe I'll sell them for statboosters if they actually appear in secret shops, if I can find them.Justice & Pride - Chapter 20xthesiaoz2024-07-13 | Another gaiden, and I did something wild before starting the chapter.
Nothing much to this other than chasing down thieves before they escape with the loots. Only thing to note is the 29 Spd boss who is positioned near the chest room instead of the throne. Just have a 26 Spd unit with the hoplon guard bait him out and then range abuse the following player phase.
---
With the warp staff, I guess there will be some Luigi gameplay in the next few chapters.Justice & Pride - Chapter 20thesiaoz2024-07-12 | Theodora having a different skill for some reason, the tactics room mentioning the obvious stuff but leave out the more important ones once again, also there's a hidden surprise when you "complete" the chapter which I'm not really a fan of.
Anyway, this is a defeat boss chapter, but there is a hidden surprise once you did it, which is another boss to defeat. The map is the usual, with the threat being cavalry and fliers rushing toward you.
There is a recruitable unit who is obviously stationed with ones that are supposed to escape, so you either have to know beforehand how the enemy A.I work, or just gamble to bait. There is a turn limit that isn't explicitly given to the player, so you cannot take too long and has to estimate how long you need to defeat the boss too.
For the boss, maybe he's as strong like what the tactics room said, but I don't really know, given what happened in the video. The hidden boss is also fairly easy too, but there's something off with the math (combat wise), either there's a glitch or the skills in this romhack aren't accurate after all.
---
Caterina is actually not that difficult to train, I think she's gonna be fully trained in just a few chapters' time.Justice & Pride - Chapter 19thesiaoz2024-07-11 | What's the point of introducing brothers on the same map but they have zero interaction?
The chapter objective is to seize the castle gate, so basically defeat Theodora and that's about it. Not sure whether Aderyn not fighting her will change anything.
Melinda is a must here because you will get one of the best items, a speed relic, when she talks to Walter. Again, not sure whether Leon has any interaction with Walter, but I sure know that Ervin doesn't.
Nothing much to note other than the sniper near the eclipse druid, that's a real speedy sniper.
---
Maybe the Juna Fruit might go to an unexpected character.Justice & Pride - Chapter 18thesiaoz2024-07-10 | Another FoW chapter, the item distribution in this romhack is just weird. Chest keys appear when there are no chests, then maps with chests have no chest keys, and now the shop selling the torch staff is near to the objective when I don't really need it anymore.
Anyway, this chapter is pretty straightforward, just move from point A to point B and that's about it. Only thing to note is a witch at the top right has a stealable silver card.
---
Maybe I should just train Caterina, the final chapter still seems so far away.Justice & Pride - Chapter 17thesiaoz2024-07-09 | Choose your recruitment, the chapter.
Nothing much here other than positioning Aderyn for who you wanna recruit, and your thief on the other side so you can steal the item from the one you don't recruit. Since this is a defeat boss chapter, you can actually cheese this with Ganymede if you have enough weapon uses, which I don't since I didn't bother getting them from the previous chapter.
---
Hopefully I don't miss anything later just because of who I have chosen.Justice & Pride - Chapter 15x & 16thesiaoz2024-07-08 | 2-in-1. I stalled the gaiden chapter to fight a mediocre boss who is supposed to be undefeatable here, while I kinda skipped the next chapter in a way so I don't have to take much longer to render the video.
Ch 15x has 3 items to grab, one is the power relic in the village, one is the S rank axe, where you need a strong magic user, and the last is the master seal on the halberdier. Not sure whether defeating Perseus will break the game or not, but the constant insults from him sounds like he wanted a fight. To be honest, 17 Spd is nothing much by this point, the 19 Spd hero commander back in the defend chapter is much more difficult than this. Didn't bother with checking there are items near the ruins as the knight reinforcements are too much.
Ch 16 is designed like a defend chapter, but it's just a usual "defeat boss" one. The boss is positioned relatively close to you, means that you can easily one turn this if your attacker has enough stats. I didn't bother with the droppable ballista weapons as I don't want to drag the video for too long for a character that I don't even know whether I'd continue fielding. Nothing much to say here since I completed this rather quickly, so maybe I missed some good items or maybe even recruitment for the later turns, but I'll just pretend that's just my imagination.
---
Kara best girl.Justice & Pride - Chapter 15thesiaoz2024-07-07 | So many things going on here, I would have missed some of them if I didn't have the habit of copying and pasting useful comments from the early chapters into a notepad before I attempt the chapter.
Anyway, this is an escape chapter, but you have to defeat the boss so it allows access to the escape point, and then have everyone escape as usual.
The next thing to note are the 3 green fire-looking things below the escape point, each of them will give a different skill, but you can only pick one, and they will disappear after a unit accepts a skill. They are all good in their own way depending on your playstyle, although one is outright broken if you RNG abuse.
Next is Luigi, he is required to recruit Nefats. Also, there's a gaiden chapter if this is cleared within 25 turns, which is easy since I still have turns to spare despite wasting turns just to get that master seal from the reinforcement that appears halfway through. Maybe there are more items from reinforcements, but I don't want this to be a 2-hour video, so I'll pretend the master seal is the only droppable item.
---
I really hope I didn't make the wrong decision with that skill I chose.Justice & Pride - Chapter 14thesiaoz2024-07-06 | Do I need to explain why I hate reinforcements again? Oh yeah, there's one with a bolting tome that moves too.
Seriously, just boss rush this chapter, it's better to end the chapter before it gets really tedious with the reinforcements. There's also a secret shop here, but you need to get the card from the chest first. Besides that, this is just an endurance level until you get rid of the bosses.
