The lowest incidence rates occurred in most regions of Africa and Asia, with rates less than 1 per 100 000 person-years (except for Middle and Southern Africa as well as Western Asia).
The highest incidence rates for both males (42 per 100 000 person-years) and females (31 per 100 000 person-years) were observed in Australia/New Zealand, followed by Western Europe (19 per 100 000 person-years for males and females), North America (18 per 100 000 person-years for males, 14 per 100 000 persons for females) and Northern Europe (17 per 100 000 person-years for males, 18 per 100 000 person-years for females). The lowest incidence rates occurred in most regions of Africa and Asia, with rates less than 1 per 100 000 person-years (except for Middle and Southern Africa as well as Western Asia). The highest mortality rates (4 per 100 000 person-years for males, 2 per 100 000 person-years for females) were observed in Australia/New Zealand, whereas rates in most other world regions were much lower, ranging between 0.2-1.0 per 100 000 person-years.
Populations 746m - Europe 150k cases 1.216b - Africa under 7k cases
By contrast, melanoma remained rare in most parts of Africa, South and Central America, and Asia. With mortality rates peaking at 5 per 100 000 person-years in New Zealand, geographic differences in mortality were similar, but with lower rates and less between- and within-region variability. Yet the global share of deaths relative to cases remained disproportionally high in Asia and Africa compared with other world regions.

It sheds light on the significant, yet often overlooked, influence of African heritage on European culture, offering a factual and descriptive account of the origins and development of Morris Dancing.
The video meticulously examines the elements of Morris Dancing that hint at its Moorish influence, from the intricate costumes and rhythmic patterns to the very name "Morris," suggesting a deeper connection to the Moors. By focusing on historical accuracy and scholarly research, it invites viewers to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural interplay that contributed to the formation of this beloved tradition.WTF went wrong with this Nefertiti reconstruction? The King Mono Show2024-01-31 | So, why does this reconstruction of Nefertiti look so scary?
The reconstruction artist Elisabeth Daynes, guilty for such crimes against humanity as this rendition of king Tut.It's puzzling that her reconstruction team, who allegedly consulted experts, failed to understand some very basic regional phenotypic traits.
Not only is the mummy very likely not Nefertiti, it is typically african, in contrast to the, likely faked, Berlin bust.
First, you will note that this head is dolichocephalic, a long headed trait, widespread amongst a majority of indigenous africans.
Next, you will note the strong zygomatic projection coupled with a mildly prognathic jawline. Another typically african trait, with many africans exhibitting orthognathic projection and visible convexity to their frontal cheek area.
Finally, the extended aveolar region is very common. However, rather than looking gaunt and limp like the reconstruction, it is naturally hidden by the projection of a comparitively more volumous top lip, evident on the mummies remains. When Africans talk about Egypt 😠 #blackhistory #history #ancientegypt #kemetThe King Mono Show2024-01-27 | ...There were NO blonde pharaohs... Note: It is generally accepted that the average mummy does not resemble the body of any healthy living human being, and yet Eurocentrists build reconstructions solely based on the unchanging facial features of these long dead persons. A curious, but transparently eurocentric double standard.
Since the subject of the effects of environmental and chemical oxidation on melanin in hair is deliberately skirted by modern egyptologists (because of the obvious encouragement it gives delusional europeans to pretend blonde and red headed mummies in Africa are a natural phenomema). However, the cause of this chemical discolouration is actually well know and not the subject of great mystery. So lets tackle it today.
What must be understood at this point is that those posessing dark pigmented hair carry both forms of melanin as stated by Wakamatsu in the following study.
"The quantity and ratio of EM and PM are the major determinants for the color of hair, skin, and eyes [34,35,36,37]. Furthermore, it is generally accepted that EM is photoprotective, while PM is phototoxic to tissues [38]. Therefore, in studies about melanin, it is pivotal to measure the quantity and the ratio of EM and PM. "
"Most natural melanin pigments are composed of both EM and PM (the concept of “mixed melanogenesis”) "
"Exposure to excess ultraviolet (UV)A radiation induces degradation/modification of both EM and PM, which is detrimental to pigmented tissues. The UV-induced degradation/modification of melanin structures was evaluated using our chemical degradation followed by HPLC methods [38,88,89].
"In vertebrates, the most common types of melanins are eumelanin and pheomelanin, which are associated with black-brown and red-yellow colors, respectively. Interestingly, eumelanin (and possibly also pheomelanin) has been found to persist across geological time, providing biomolecular data from multimillion-year-old fossils"
"However, systematic spectral changes upon maturation reduced these dissimilarities, indicating that intense heat and pressure treatment leads to the formation of a common, partially degraded, eumelanin molecular structure." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7796430
I would posit, one such environment abundant in such heat and pressure would be resin wrapped mummies buried in the sahara desert.
Cosmetic hair bleaching relies on destructive oxidation of melanin pigments, usually as a result of treatment by hydrogen peroxide under alkaline conditions (ammonia or monoethanolamine). sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S089158491730151X
Since the most well-known use of hydrogen peroxide is in hair dyes, it makes sense to start there. In dye mixtures, hydrogen peroxide acts as an oxidising agent. It oxidises melanins, organic compounds which absorb visible light and give hair its colour; this oxidation removes the parts of the compounds that cause colour, and causes the natural pale yellow of keratin (the protein that makes up hair) to show through. compoundchem.com/2014/09/30/hydrogenperoxide

Subscribe to TKM Show for more clipsAre Africas long arm spans a disability? (The King Mono Show)The King Mono Show2024-01-06 | Leonardo da vinci's famous vitruvian man is regarded as one of the most iconic images of Western civilisation. It depicts a man with outstretched arms within a square, signifying among other things, the ideal proportions are represented in a 1 to 1 relationship between one's arm span and their height.
However, these ideals are not universal. In fact, in terms of human anthropometry; Africans are in general known to have comparitively longer tibias and arms, and shorter torsoes, this is described as a tropical adaption, ultimately resulting in the arm span of Africans to, on average fall 6 to 15% above of the Vitruvian proportions. Europeans typically fall 3 to 1% below it (a cold weather adaption).
The ancient Egyptians were no exception. When the limb proportions of the pharonic lineage for 18th/19th dynasties were compared to modern ethnic groups, they clustered well within the anthropometric norms for quote unquote 'negro' modern Africans yet well above the range typical for modern eurasians.
Another study tested 150 noble Egyptians spanning from the Badarian and pre-dynastic through to the middle kingdom periods found that, on average, the ancient Egyptians possessed 'super negroid' limb proportions, at the extreme 'nilotic' end of the african spectrum, as shown in the typically short torsoed, long limbed portraits seen throughout kemetic history.
Because of this irksome and indisputable link that effectively proved the native african nature of the ancient Egyptians, Zahi Hawass and other Egyptologists were desperate to find a diagnoses of Marfans Syndrome amongst the pharonic lineages. However, in a thorough 2010 autosomal dna study, no such traits were found, obviously confirming that their African body plans were indeed a natural tropical occurrence. This complimented later STR profiling analysis of the same autosomal dna results, clustering the same pharonic line as on average 20 times closer match probability to black Africans than Eurasians.
So, in short, whilst the ancient Egyptians would have fallen well outside of the da vincian ideal of perfection, and the 1 to 1 ratio falsely promoted by western medicine, they were perfectly in situ on the continent.
Not only is the insinuation of disability incorrect, its insulting and insensitive to melenated Africans who see these proportions at a high frequency within their communities.
Its scary to think in 20 23 that a qualified MD would not be aware of this fundamental morphological difference between Africans and Europeans.
Modern Europeans are not the model of the human form. If anything, being that all people descend from Africans, the African body should be regarded as the default and the virtruvian proportions to that end should be considered a recent European mutation.
