The wall dash is a mechanic that has become more and more popular particularly in the past few months. A few select pros are already beginning to implement it in the game. However, there's a bit more to it that almost no one (not even the pros) actually knows about. This could potentially cause a massive shift in meta for certain aspects of the game.
Just when we think everything in Rocket League has been discovered, new mechanics and ideas somehow still tend to pop up. I'm finding myself always being impressed by how Rocket League keeps evolving. This mechanic, the wall dash, only started being used in pro Rocket League within the past few months. I watched a lot of RLCS X last season and never saw the wall dash used once. Now, after a slight bit of research and only a little bit of watching, I see it being used all the time by select pro players. And this new mechanic in particular that has yet to be used at the highest level still hasn't hit that audience yet. Maybe after this video, we'll see the few professional keyboard and mouse players start using this in almost every game. Or on the other hand, the Rocket League developers, Psyonix, might find a way to patch it and make it so no one is capable of pulling this off that easily.

1v3 outplays in the RLCS aren't super common, but when they do happen they are truly amazing. When one player can outplay 3 opponents, one after the other, that are all some of the best defenders in the world, it's never something to just ignore. :)The Game 7 That Made Instant HistoryWayton Pilkin2024-07-14 | The RLCS London Major 3.0 was another excellent event altogether. However, there was one series in particular that was definitely the highlight of the tournament. Falcons vs Gentle Mates was one of the most entertaining series we've seen in a while. This is the story of the Game 7 That Made Instant History.
The talent showcased from both Team Falcons and Gentle Mates throughout their entire semifinal was something very unique. Both teams seems to be playing so well even under maximum pressure with the highest stakes. It's no wonder why there were so many highlights in this series alone. Everything from the mechanics, to the speed, to the tactics used were all so impressive. I knew I had to watch it back again the first time I saw it. It was no doubt one of the fastest paced and highest action game 7s I have ever seen.

:)The Risky Tactic That Changed Pro Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2024-06-10 | The Rocket League Kickoff meta has slowly evolved over the years and has especially seen monumental changes this year in 2024 so far. This video is a cinematic look on how we got here and how the meta for pro Rocket League Kickoffs has changed over time.
Over the years as an RLCS fan, I've seen the kickoff meta slowly evolve in pro Rocket League. For most of that time it was very standard and boring, but in this season of the RLCS, pro teams have started completely changing the way they look at kickoffs. Fake kickoffs, Spanish kickoffs, pinch kickoffs, and so much more. The meta has changed so fast and so suddenly after laying dormant for years. This is the story of the Rocket League Kickoff Meta. :)The Cheating Situation In Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2024-04-30 | Hackers and cheaters in Rocket League are getting so common that it's actually a serious issue at this point. Pro players in the RLCS are talking about it every day now. Psyonix definitely needs to do something fast. There are 3 different kinds of hacks/cheats we're talking about today.
I am so baffled and disappointed at the fact that Psyonix and Epic Games still haven't done anything about most of the cheating situations in Rocket League. They have been slowly getting worse and worse over time and this past month was the true tipping point for it all. The top 100 leaderboards are filled with cheaters of all sorts. Psyonix is banning some of them occasionally but missing others entirely. Rocket League used to be one of the only competitive games out there with no hackers or cheaters. Nowadays, Rocket League is filled with cheaters and hackers, particularly at the highest rank. It's even preventing pro RLCS players from practicing how they want. Psyonix and Epic Games, please do something about it and communicate with your community.

:)The Problem with Rocket League in FortniteWayton Pilkin2023-12-12 | Rocket Racing has just been released in Fortnite. Until now, no one really knew what to expect with it. Will it be similar to Rocket League at all? What does it mean for actual Rocket League? Today, I answer these questions and more.
Thanks to @CBellRL and @Virge for joining me in some of the games!
My big concern with Rocket Racing being released largely comes from the fact that many of the Rocket League developers revealed that this was the big project they had been working on for the past couple years. While we all thought the Rocket League developers were working on Unreal Engine 5 or some other big plans for Rocket League, it turns out that they were working on something that wasn't even coming to Rocket League at all. It's disappointing to say the least, and it's why I'm concerned about what this means for the future of Rocket League as well.
The Rocket League community has still managed to discover and begin perfecting new Rocket League mechanics even in 2023. Today we cover 6 of them that came up in the community this year. These are the New Mechanics of Rocket League in 2023.
When I first considered this video idea about New Rocket League mechanics in 2023, I didn't think there would actually be enough to talk about to make a full video about it. But after researching for multiple days, there were surprisingly a lot of new mechanics this year. When this game first released, I never thought we would still be talking about new mechanics 8 years later. We're still finding variations of new flicks, new flip resets, new wave dashes, and so much more. As long as new Rocket League mechanics keep getting discovered, I will keep making these videos because it is truly fascinating seeing what the Rocket League community continues to discover each year.

In this video, I showcase 5 times that happened. 5 Times Rocket League Pros Shocked The World.
Although pros have gotten better and better throughout the years, it's still fun to look back on older moments where they pulled off something unbelievable at the time. Even today, they still manage to shock the world with incredible plays, but they continue to raise the bar even higher with each one. That's why in this video, I showcased 5 of the best moments where that happened in chronological order. :)How I scored on SSLs with one basic mechanicWayton Pilkin2023-09-09 | 🕹 Get a browser that’s literally better at everything: operagx.gg/WaytonPilkin3 Sponsored by Opera GX! One of Rocket League's most deadly mechanics is simpler than you think. In fact, I bet YOU could learn it in less than a day. The best part is, even though it's pretty easy to learn, it's also extremely effective even at the top level of Rocket League. This is how I scored on SSLs with one basic mechanic.
The Air Dribble is probably the most commonly overcomplicated mechanic in Rocket League. Players frequently first begin by learning it the HARD way first, and often give up before realizing that it doesn't have to be that hard to begin with. On top of that, they also don't realize that the HARD way of learning it is also in fact the LESS EFFECTIVE way in competition. If you make this minor tweak to your technique with air dribbles in Rocket League, you will get the best of both worlds since it is easier this way AND more effective. To prove it, I taught it to a Diamond player for the first time in just over 30 minutes, and I used the same mechanic to score on SSLs at the end of the video.
Rocket League has a new hardest workshop map. I tried it out and it was one of the hardest challenges I've ever attempted. This is my story of how I beat the Immortals Progressive Tower. The hardest map in Rocket League.
Rocket League workshop maps are one of my favorite parts about the game. It's so much fun to try and beat obstacle courses made by some incredibly creative map designers. The Immortals Progressive Tower is definitely one of the most creative Rocket League maps I've ever tried, and it is definitely the hardest one I've ever beaten. Lethamyr and other map creators did a great job making this one. If Unreal Engine 5 in Rocket League is ever released, I can't wait to see how maps like this continue to elevate and get more creative and difficult! If more maps like this release that you want me to try out in a video, feel free to send them my way on my socials!

:)The One Skill You Cant Improve Even If You TriedWayton Pilkin2023-08-05 | Playing fast in Rocket League is one of the most important parts of the game. When you play faster, your opponents struggle to keep up, which gives you a HUGE advantage. But there's just one huge problem with it. When you actually try to improve this skill, everything else goes wrong.
This is my attempt at solving the "playing fast" issue in Rocket League. It's a struggle that everyone who has tried playing fast before has experienced. How can you play fast in Rocket League without playing worse overall? After some research, I had one trick up my sleave to achieve this... slow motion game speed. In theory, warming up in slow motion should help you be hyper aware of all of your individual movements and prep your mind into thinking as fast as possible by the time you switch back to normal speed and queue ranked. This is what I decided to test out over 6 days. Spoiler... it worked amazingly.

:)How a 16 year old changed pro Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2023-07-01 | A 16 year old Rocket League prodigy from France, named Zen, recently had his RLCS debut and put on one of the best rookie performances ever seen in the RLCS. This is the story of how Zen got there and turned Vitality back into a championship winning team again.
Lots of clips used from @JohnnyBoi_i and @Feer. Check them out!
Zen is already widely considered the most mechanical Rocket League player in the world, and to many, the best player in the world. It sounds far fetched but his performance justifies those claims. Zen is an anomaly above the rest of the entire pro scene. His mechanics and mind for the game is on a whole other playing field. Even though he just began competing in RLCS, it's safe to say that he's not going anywhere. Zen will continue to be talked about as one of the best pros in the RLCS for a very long time.

New Rocket League seasons always call for new things to talk about. This season, Psyonix decided to drastically change how ranked works by resetting 3v3 and 2v2 especially a lot more harshly than normal. :)How I got Grand Champion with 0 mechanicsWayton Pilkin2023-05-24 | It's a common debate in the Rocket League community. Can you get Grand Champion with 0 mechanics? I personally think, yes. And today I end this debate once and for all by proving it myself. This is how I got Grand Champion with no mechanics.
People often debate whether or not mechanics are important for ranking up in Rocket League. In my opinion, mechanics are not nearly as important as you think if you're trying to climb the ranks. Even some experienced coaches overvalue how important mechanics are. Obviously, you need some mechanical ability to an extent, but people often estimate that they need way more than they actually do. In this video, I got Grand Champion with a piano as my controller to prove that mechanics aren't actually that important.

:)The Truth About Smurfs In Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2023-04-20 | Smurfing in Rocket League is an issue that has existed since the game's launch. However, it's an issue that comes with a lot of questions. How bad is it? Does it actually ruin the game? Today, we answer these questions.
Smurfing in video games has existed for decades and no developer has seemed to solve it. It's clear that smurfing is a bad thing, so why does it still plague so many online competitive games? Today, I dove deep into the topic of smurfing, particularly in Rocket League, to find out why developers still haven't solved the issue, if they even care about it, and how bad the smurfing issue actually is. In Rocket League particularly, the answers to those questions turned out to be pretty surprising.

:)I recreated the best Rocket League goals of 2022Wayton Pilkin2023-03-28 | There are 18 daily tournaments that start every 4 hours, so make sure to secure your spot for a chance to win from the $25,000 prize pool http://rpt.gg/waytonpilkin The RLCS in 2022 was fantastic to say the least. There was so much more innovation, even on the mechanic side, than I expected. I chose 10 of the best unique goals to recreate. I used a plugin to put myself, teammates, and opponents in the same exact positions.
It wasn't until the past year or so where this was even possible within Rocket League. For a long time, it was only possible to recreate shots in training packs by eyeballing the trajectory of the ball. Now, with RIP core, you can put yourself in a local match surrounded by bots that are doing the exact same recorded movements as the players in the actual RLCS match were. It makes everything about recreating the shots so much more realistic. Seeing yourself surrounded by your teammates and opponents that you can actually interact with makes it that much more accurate. If you don't place the shot properly, the opponent will even save it. It's a true test to if you can score that exact shot that the pros hit in a real competitive situation.

:)flower leagueWayton Pilkin2023-03-14 | I got together with @CBellRL to check out Rocket League Season 10. The new Rocket League season that just dropped last week. This new season brought a bit of new content but left some to be desired.
Rocket League season 10 is the season of flowers, apparently. Or maybe it's the season of plants? I don't know to be honest. Regardless, it's actually pretty cool. A brand new map called Deadeye Canyon: Oasis has been released. A new Rocket Pass and car was released that we tested out today. A new Estimated Queue Time feature was added, which unfortunately had some big flaws. And the season rewards are definitely a success in my eyes. So not that much content in the new Rocket League update but definitely a reason to get back on the game and queue your placement matches.

Although Rocket League items are purely cosmetic (aside from car bodies), Rocket League pros still gravitate toward the same items and even the same exact designs. In this video, I explain why Rocket League pros do that and why it actually helps them play better than they would otherwise. The reason is something that took me years to understand because I personally don't relate to it very much. Rocket League was once considered a hacker free game. However, after 7 years, that reputation changed completely. Someone figured out a way to hack their way up to Grand Champion without even playing the game. How is this possible? Thanks to a machine learning bot called Nexto, made by Rolv and the RLBot community, Grand Champion bots are now a thing. In this video, I share the best ones, including how many hours it takes to get to every rank in Rocket League.
As I was originally climbing the ranks of Rocket League, I always had a ton of questions and curiosities about how I compared to the average Rocket League player. How many hours does the average player at a rank have? Will I get better faster if I play 1v1 or 2v2 or 3v3? Questions like these never really got answers until now. :)How I managed to beat a pro in Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2022-11-16 | Go to my sponsor https://snhu.edu/wayton if you’re interested in starting a career in game development I had the brilliant idea to trick a Rocket League pro into thinking I'm better than him. Basically, I cheated... and it worked. I challenged Comm from Version1 in a workshop map that he should normally be way better than me at.
The Eversax Olympics is a new workshop map that caught my eye the first time I saw it. The map alone is already really fun to challenge yourself and your friends, but I had the idea to do more with it. I figured I could get really good at it if I practiced it enough, so I decided to challenge professional Rocket League player Comm from Version1 in it. However, I practiced it a TON beforehand without telling him, to give myself the advantage. I knew he'd be WAY better than me if we both went into the map blind, but if I could practice it enough, I thought I could beat him.

:)Rocket League Freestyling Is About To Change ForeverWayton Pilkin2022-10-24 | Recently, a large amount of Rocket League freestylers were banned from playing Rocket League for 30 days. At first, everyone was confused. Why would Psyonix suddenly start banning an extremely active community that's been around since the game's release?
Psyonix banned the activity of an entire community in Rocket League. Freestyling is going to have to change entirely. There are a lot of players that don't understand the full story or the reason why this is such a big deal. Lots of people think that Psyonix is totally in the wrong or that Rocket League freestylers are these malicious and selfish players out to get everyone. In reality, no one is perfectly innocent in the situation. :)The New Mechanics of Rocket League in 2022Wayton Pilkin2022-10-14 | These are the new mechanics in Rocket League in 2022 I've seen pop up so far. Even after 7 years, new competitive moves are still be discovered and perfected. In this video, I showcase the 3 of the new mechanics I've seen pop up in 2022.
At this point I'm convinced new mechanics in Rocket League will continue to be found for years. Every time I think we've found them all, more of them keep popping up. They don't always find their way into competitive play (at least not immediately), but they're always fun to talk about and see how people can take such a simple game of Car Soccer and be so incredibly creative with it. This video discusses some of the new competitive mechanics discovered in 2022.

:)I tried the RISKIEST Kickoff Strategies in Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2022-09-28 | Download Opera GX for free: operagx.gg/WaytonPilkin2 I tested some of the most risky and interesting kickoff strategies ever made in Rocket League. These strategies were suggested by my discord community. I was actually impressed by how effective some of them were.
I asked my discord community to send me their best kickoff strategies they could come up with. Most of them weren't even worth mentioning, but some of them actually showed some potential. I took on the job of testing them out and we walked away with a few ideas to use in dire scenarios in ranked. At the end of the experiment, we walked away smarter and knowing that we enjoyed experimenting with new strategies. Rocket League kickoffs are in my opinion the most fun way to test out new strategies and ideas.

:)The Story of The Greatest Rocket League Series in 973 DaysWayton Pilkin2022-09-15 | This is the story of the greatest Rocket League series in 973 days. A documentary I made over the course of a month. This is the biggest project I've worked on, so I hope you enjoy!
I present to you, the story of FURIA. The South American Rocket League team that went from being negligible, to a World Championship contender in one season. FURIA managed to draw in a huge amount of fans across the globe in such a short time. Everything from their storyline to their playstyle and energy on the pitch makes them such a lovable team. At the end of their season, they played in one of the most entertaining series of all time. That's exactly what inspired this video! Enjoy!

:)Is this a Grand Champion or Rocket League Pro?Wayton Pilkin2022-08-30 | Use Promo Code WAYTON-ESWAP-X to save 15% off the Thrustmaster Eswap X Pro Controller and modules until September 30: bit.ly/eswapXwaytonp
Can you tell the difference between a Grand Champion and Rocket League Pro? It's much harder than you expect. Despite being a complete difference in skill, most players have no idea how to tell the difference between the two ranks when watching their gameplay.
If you were to put a Grand Champion against a Rocket League Pro, the result of the matchup wouldn't even be close. The Rocket League Pro would reveal the mistakes made from the GC every single time simply by punishing every mistake they make. But can you find those mistakes even if they don't get punished for it? That's what this challenge comes down to. I hosted a 10,000 Credit Kahoot Competition on my Twitch stream where you'd have to guess the level of gameplay you're watching. Is it a Grand Champion, Supersonic Legend, or Rocket League Pro? It's much harder to tell the difference than you would expect, so good luck!

:)How a 15 Minute Routine Changed The Way I CompeteWayton Pilkin2022-08-09 | I did a 15 minute routine before playing Rocket League and Valorant to see how it would affect my performance. It turned out to completely change my mentality while competing for the better.
I interviewed a sports psychology expert named @FlowStateGG to learn how exercise affects the brain, and how we can use that to benefit us when competing in video games and esports. Many gamers don't exercise as often as they should, myself included, so hopefully the benefits of it improving performance in gaming can add an extra bit of motivation to get out there and get healthy. It not only improves your gaming performance, but it also just makes you happier and enjoy gaming more than you would normally. At least, that was my experience and I think it's likely others will have similar results.
A few weeks ago, I witnessed Comm, a Rocket League pro for Version1, do a ceiling double tap in one of the most impressive ways possible. There aren't many things in Rocket League that will immediately inspire me to learn, but that definitely did.
I absolutely love learning new mechanics in Rocket League. It's crazy to think that even after 6 years of playing this game, there are still things about it that I can learn and practice. Rocket League is just a game and esport that has so many levels to it, there's no way anyone could ever master it. There will always be something that can be improved or learned. Today for me, that was the ceiling double tap or ceiling rebound mechanic. There are definitely more mechanics that I can learn so I will continue to make Rocket League videos with this style for sure.

:)How much better is a Top 1% vs Top 5% Rocket League player?Wayton Pilkin2022-07-13 | How much better is a top 1% vs top 5% rocket league player? We are answering that question in this video. I challenged Zspeed to some Rocket League skill challenges and we compared our scores and times to each other.

I am a top 1% Rocket League player. Zspeed is a top 5% Rocket League players. We got together to try out various skill challenges to see how exactly we would perform compared to each other. Both of us are high level Rocket League players, but the difference in skill between us is very big. There wasn't a single challenge that Zspeed beat me in. I made this experiment to test out the difference between a top 5% Rocket League player and a top 1% Rocket League player.

:)The Essential Mechanic That Pros REFUSE To PracticeWayton Pilkin2022-07-05 | There is an extremely valuable mechanic in Rocket League that pros know about but still refuse to practice. It's a basic fundamental that is far from being perfected by anyone but they still don't put time into improving it. Today I investigate and analyze exactly why that is.

Thanks to @Virge, @ShockRL, and @ExplosiveGyro for taking the time to chat with me! There is no single player in the world that has even come close to mastering shooting in Rocket League. But it turns out, there's a good reason for that. Shooting in Rocket League is one of the most difficult things to practice because it's just so repetitive and, put frankly, boring. However, practicing it clearly does have its upsides. I learned a lot this week from talking with these pros and coaches and experimenting with shooting practice for myself. I'm sure there are barely any people out there that have committed to shooting training in Rocket League as much as I did this week so hopefully you all learn something from this too!

:)I tried RISKY Kickoff Strategies in RankedWayton Pilkin2022-06-27 | Kickoffs are so much more boring in Rocket League than they need to be. So I put a twist on them to make them more interesting. I tried new risky kickoff strategies in ranked Rocket League.
Rocket League Kickoffs are one of the most important aspects of the game. It determines who gets play to play offense first which is often a big difference maker in a game's outcome. Right now, everyone in the player base uses the same kickoff strategy in Rocket League. Today, I experimented with some friends to see if we could come up with any strategies that worked better or perfectly countered that standard strategy that everyone uses right now. It was a lot of fun and we actually walked away with something that we'll probably end up using in future ranked games. New Rocket League kickoff strategies are a lot of fun to try out even if they aren't successful.

:)This Rocket League bot is the same rank as meWayton Pilkin2022-06-20 | Nexto is the best Rocket League bot ever made. Its creators estimate it to be Grand Champion 2. That's the same rank as me. Today, I 1v1'd Nexto in a best of 5 to see how good it really is. Does it live up to the hype?
This 1v1 best of 5 challenge against Nexto ended up being a lot closer than I thought. I thought I would either get dominated or I would dominate it. Turns out, it went pretty back and forth. It's crazy that at the start of this year, the best Rocket League AI was seen to be around Gold 3. But suddenly, thanks to machine learning, someone put together a Rocket League bot that has reached the skill equivalent of Grand Champion 2. I never would have thought this was possible. Now that I've seen it and played against it for myself, it is certainly the real deal. Nexto is definitely Grand Champion 2. It is no longer an insult to be called a bot because this bot is an elite Rocket League player in the top 1%.

:)I recreated the most impressive Rocket League goals of all time...Wayton Pilkin2022-06-13 | I used a plugin to put myself in the most impressive Rocket League goal scenarios to see if I could recreate them the same way they happened in RLCS. I started with the most impressive goals back in Season 1 and finished with the most impressive goals of present time.
I used a plugin called Ripcore to see if I could score the same extremely impressive RLCS goals that we see professional players pull off. Some of them turned out to be a lot easier than I expected while others were a lot harder. It's interesting how impressive Rocket League goals do not perfectly line up with how difficult the Rocket League goals are. Psyonix recently announced a new custom training update to come soon so I hope this feature gets put in the actual game soon with that update. Not only is recreating the most impressive and famous Rocket League goals fun, but it's also useful for training.

:)Can I beat the Impossible Dribbling Gauntlet in 90 Minutes?Wayton Pilkin2022-06-06 | Book a 1 on 1 session with a pro right now. Use my code Wayton20 to get 20% off of your first coaching session or replay review! inflcr.co/SHCXU Thank you Metafy for sponsoring today’s video!
The Impossible Dribbling Gauntlet is a challenge I made in Rocket League where I have to beat some of the hardest dribbling courses in Rocket League. The courses were Dribble 2 Overhaul, The Floor Is Lava, and The Eversax Dribbling Challenge.
Course 1: Dribble 2 Overhaul Course 2: The Floor Is Lava !! A New Dribbling Challenge ! Course 3: Eversax's Dribble Challenge - Made by Gidek
Dribbling Challenges might be my favorite thing to do on my own in Rocket League. Dribble Challenges are seriously so rewarding when you beat them, especially when you can actually see your skills progress as you move along. One of my favorite things about it is that the next time I go in game, I feel so much more comfortable dribbling in Rocket League. After I complete a course, I genuinely feel like I've improved. The Eversax Dribbling Challenge is definitely the hardest one I've ever had to complete and I made a goal for myself to beat it along with two other challenging courses in under 90 minutes.

:)How G2 became the Best Rocket League Team in the world in one splitWayton Pilkin2022-05-30 | This video is a cinematic breakdown of that made G2 truly became the best in the world (for me). This is exactly how they won 3 events in a row and why they're so dominant.
G2 Esports have always been a top tier Rocket League team in the world, but the results they've been having the past few months have set them on a whole new caliber of dominance we haven't seen from them in years if ever. 3 event wins in a row is not something you see every season, especially in a major region like North America. G2 Esports have truly solidified themselves as the best Rocket League team in the world, but that title will be tested in the upcoming Spring Split Major in London. Team BDS in Europe is looking very strong as of late, so that matchup will be the biggest one to look out for in my opinion.

:)How much better is a Top 0.01% vs Top 1% Rocket League player?Wayton Pilkin2022-05-23 | How much better is a top 0.01% vs top 1% rocket league player? That question gets answered in this video. Through a set of skill challenges, we see how these two high level players directly compare to each other.

I got some time with Version1 Comm to see how we compared when put into the same skill challenges. In the big picture, we are both very high level Rocket League players. However, when put side by side, it's clear he is in an entirely different league of his own. RLCS pros are in a completely different tier of skill and this video is a great showcase of how far above even top 1% players they are. Thank you to Version1 Comm for participating in the video and showing off his Rocket League skills.

:)Learning The Ceiling Pinch at 3 Levels in Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2022-05-16 | I learned the most underrated mechanic in Rocket League in my opinion, the ceiling pinch. I broke it down into 3 levels and went from almost no experience to pulling it off in an online ranked match.
The ceiling pinch turned out to be so much easier that I expected. I always thought the mechanic wasn't used much in ranked because it was just too difficult to do consistently. I learned that you can absolutely control it and get used to it pretty quickly. I will definitely keep practicing the ceiling pinch in Rocket League because I think it's not used nearly enough as it should be. I got to play with @PulseFireRL and @Virge during this video who helped me along my journey to learning the ceiling pinch in Rocket League.

:)The Hardest Obstacle Course in Rocket LeagueWayton Pilkin2022-05-09 | I tried the hardest obstacle course ever made in Rocket League and it proved to be much harder than I thought. This is my story of how I beat the Dacia Spring Electric Challenge. The hardest obstacle course in Rocket League.
I love playing custom workshop maps in Rocket League. Challenges like the Eversax Dribbling Challenge and the Dacia Spring Electric Challenge are so much fun for me. They are extremely difficult even for some of the top players but also extremely rewarding when they do get beaten. The sense of accomplishment I felt when I beat it made the whole journey worth it. As more challenges like this get released, I'll definitely want to try them out and if they're entertaining enough, I'll definitely make a video out of them. Lethamyr and the other map makers did a fantastic job with this one. When creative mode comes out with Unreal Engine 5 in Rocket League, I'll definitely want to make some of these maps on my own and host challenges for you guys to compete in as well.

:)YouTubers vs KnockoutWayton Pilkin2022-05-02 | I challenged other Rocket League YouTubers and creators to some games in the brand new Rocket League game mode Knockout. We had some amazing and hilarious moments. These are my thoughts on the mode and highlights from those games.
Thanks to the fellas for playing some games with me: @PhantomACE @Lethamyr @CBellRL @JG7tv
It is rare, but every so often there's something that Psyonix does that is praised by the community. We had another one of those rare moments recently with the addition of this new Rocket League game mode called Knockout, as well as the event with it called Knockout Bash. I can confidently say this is my favorite additional game mode that has ever been added to Rocket League. Myself and many other Rocket League YouTubers such as SunlessKhan, CBell, and Lethamyr quickly flocked to this new game mode to make a video about it and show the community what they are missing out on if they haven't played it yet. It is genuinely so much fun. Who knew that Rocket League removing the ball could make for such an amazing game mode.

:)We brought this RLCS tactic into ranked... (it worked)Wayton Pilkin2022-04-25 | I analyzed the pro Rocket League teams at the RLCS Winter Major and turned it into a strategy to use in ranked. The result was the best strategy we've used on the channel by far.
After analyzing the games from the RLCS Winter Major, I developed a gameplay strategy to test out in ranked 2v2 gameplay. I was expecting the strategy to at least be decent but I was blown away by how effective it was. It's definitely not a playstyle I normally have but we caught on to it very quickly and started using it to our advantage. We saw so much more success in this session with this new playstyle than we would have if we had just played normally. I will definitely continue to use a version of this style in my future Rocket League ranked games.

:)An Introduction to Rocket League in 11 MinutesWayton Pilkin2022-04-20 | Rocket League is a surprisingly complex game but it has the potential to reach heights that no other Esport ever has. This video is an introduction to Rocket League and RLCS meant for those that aren't that familiar with it yet.
Rocket League has a closer connection to traditional sports such as football, soccer, basketball, etc. than any other Esports in the world. That is exactly why I think it has the potential to be the face of Esports in the future. If any game will bridge that gap between traditional sports and Esports, Rocket League has the best chance of doing so in my opinion. Its competitive nature from its movement to its positioning gives me the same excitement and energy I get while watching the MLB, NFL, or NBA. The biggest thing preventing Rocket League from reaching a broader audience is the fact that it's just not mainstream so the general public doesn't know much about it. This video is my attempt at a first step to breaking that barrier.
