I'm guessing that this "guitar riff" tune was the inspiration for many spy themes of the 60s. My website: www.playsteelguitar.com The tuning is C6 with a couple of alterations for this song. I tuned my high G down to F# and I have a low E, string 8. The middle 6 strings are standard C6 lap steel: (low to high) C E G A C E. 98% of the song is played on the middle 6 strings. I only played strings 1 & 8 a couple of times, and only as fills. So the song can be played on a 6-string lap steel, standard C6 tuning. Thanks for listening! 😊
