Ubuntu Server 18.04 - Setup DNS, DHCP And Static IP Address

This video shows how to from the start how to setup a static IP address on Ubuntu Server 18.04. It then shows how to setup the DNS server and DHCP server.

The commands and config settings are below:

sudo apt install bind9
sudo nano /etc/bind/named.conf.options
sudo systemctl restart bind9
systemctl status bind9
sudo nano /etc/netplan/50-cloud-init.yaml
sudo apt install isc-dhcp-server
sudo nano /etc/default/isc-dhcp-server
sudo systemctl stop isc-dhcp-server
sudo systemctl start isc-dhcp-server
