The paper I used from the pack reminds me of the beach wood I have in my studio. As you know, I love the beach and all things related, so it was a no-brainer to use this paper. In 2003 at the age of 45, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I had a mammogram 9 months before but one day in the shower I did a self-exam and found a lump. I will never forget the tears and fears that happened that day in the shower. My mind began to race!!!! Mark, my husband was out of work and we didn’t have health insurance. We barely could keep the lights on and feed our family. Getting treatment for cancer was so far out of our budget! We have five kids who all needed their mom to live! My youngest was 8 years old at the time! But when you have no insurance or money you fear the worse. You feel like the cancer will take your life. Several organizations helped me with treatment and surgeries. The American Cancer was one of the organizations that helped me back then! I can help those who are diagnosed by raising funds to help Stamp Out Breast Cancer! And so can you! I am so blessed to be a Survivor! And I want to help others to Survive!Once again I am working with my Stamping Friend Selene Kempton Stamping Out Breast Cancer EventShe is holding an in-person stamping event this Saturday in Dracut, Massachusetts.
