Two days in particular stand out, one where I managed 103 camera shots, the next day 97 - this was to get us back on schedule due to losing half a day because of rain.Thanks to a remarkable crew, 2nd Unit director and fight choreographer Richard Norton and Zachary Weintraub for covering part of the runaway wagon sequence.

I thought they had scrapped it completely, however, they worked it in, slightly shorter, as a tag. After 30 years, it's nice to see it exists.

The entire Saban team of producers and I had an intensive meeting the weekend before we started shooting. This was the 4th episode in my "cluster" (we shot 4 episodes simultaneously to economize on locations and studio work). My episodes, including the pilot, High Five, Pressing Engagement and No Clowning Around were shot in 11 days. We discussed a number of issues based on my observations as a director; the amount of scenes the Rangers were filmed together, virtually always, which meant very little down time for the young cast • The amount of fighting and physical action they had since the cast were always dressed in summer gear, so nowhere to hide stunt padding • Another topic was level of violence for a children's television show. We made a point that no humans were involved in fighting each other, even Bulk and Skull were hoisted by their own petard.

Jackson, Christian Slater, Anne Archer, Lacey Chabert, David Warner, Robert Picardo and Jim MeskimanSadly the movie stalled even though the voices were edited and music recorded, but 2004 came and went before Harry could finance the animation side of the production. The project languished for many years and was eventually resurrected with a different script, director and cast as Quantum Quest.
