This method allows to greatly increase the time resolution. Photo Finish displays the frame directly after the finish line by default. By tapping on the image you can switch between the two images and check the correct detection of the chest position.►Do you have a proof for the accuracy of the timing?We plan to conduct a study with a high-speed camera to measure the precision of Photo Finish and compare it to a commercial light barrier system. The results of the study will be linked here. Until then, everyone can convince themselves of the accuracy with a simple test: Place two smartphones connected in multi-session mode opposite to each other on the same target line and align them exactly vertically and to the respective other camera lens. Then run across the finish line a few times. If the alignment is precise, both smartphones capture the runner at the same time, typically the times differ by only 0.01 seconds or less.

Climbing an Unfinished Skyscraper in China during a Typhoon at Night JL2579 2019-08-12 | Background Story:I am currently in Dalian (大連) in China and visiting my girlfriends familiy. This is also my very first trip to asia! Today a large Typhoon arrived in the city with up to 300mm of rain in 24h. Right now we are staying at a large skyscraper hotel in the middle of the city on the topmost floor the elevator goes to. However, as I figured out, the building itself is much taller and the top half is not quite finished yet. Since nobody was using the staircase ( lazy chinese, :D) , I figured I would see where it leads to. To my suprise, none of the doors were locked :D There was quite a suprise at the top!
Boosted Ebike Made with 3d Printed Parts ! Crazy Fast ! JL2579 2019-05-20 | READ BELOW FOR MORE INFO ABOUT THE BIKE !This bike was a side project I me and my buddy started a long time ago.I did the most part, but he helped me with some details. I had this bike laying around broken for ages until I finally decided to fix it 3 days ago and this is the result.The bike runs on an 12 Cell Lipo battery pack made from quite old ( around 10 years) lipo batteries . Originally the pack had 15Ah, but from a few tests the batteries have only around 12Ah left. The controller is set to 80Amps continous/110Amps Boost ( using the Boost feature I am explaining in the Video!)Assuming 85% overall efficiency the peak output of the bike is around 110A*48V*85% = 4500 Watts. The full batteries have 50.4V but drop to around 48 under full load. Because the motor is geared rather high ( topspeed around 53-55km/h with a full battery ) , the full power is only avaliable at high speeds. PLEASE READ :)I found the CEO at Pimax sitting at a small both by his own with the best VR experience at the whole exhibition!He showed me a very early but extremly impressive prototype using an advanced laser tracking system and 2 4k screens, one for each eye. Additionaly the system has 2 perfectly working all-orientation controllers for a wide range of applications. The system has by far the best resolution, movement tracking and Field of view of all systems I have tested ad the exhibiton. The current DEV version needs 4 (!!) cables to transmit the enourmus amount of data to the graphics card. This just shows how crazy this is. They said that they are currently working on the wireless transmission.
