Hai. I'm back after 3 months of inactivity on this channel.
Welcome to another collaboration between Dani and Me, and perhaps our best Black MIDI piece ever!! There's some more important information about this MIDI and about myself at the end too.

This one was quite the challenge for me to nolag in PFA. Not only because of the massive crashpoint at the end with almost 1 million polyphony, but because theres like 6 crashpoints in this with 4 of them having over 100k polyphony LMAO. But it was worth it, and maybe the most fun I've had making a nolag ever. Spent 36 hours of recording in total!

Yes I used khang's PFAviz mod (with reshade) for this video because I was lazy, still had to use a slowdown to record, my 3060 for some reason struggles to record 1440p60 smoothly in realtime (bruh)

I know my watermark is kinda hidden by the glow, and the bar glow is really bright, I wanted to fix it but AviUtl gave me an error every time I tried to re-render, so I couldn't

[Black MIDI] Danidanijrs Darkness V2 - 29.7 Million | PFA NO LAG!!!!!

Orangepaprika 67 2022-09-02 | Here it is, my biggest PFA No Lag project ever, with a 1,000,000x slowdown, 113 hours of recording, and 2,886,740 polyphony! Probably the last one I will do for a long time. This is now the biggest polyphony ever nolagged using the standard slowdown method. This MIDI actually does have 2.8 million polyphony, which I realized too late after checking it in fastmidiinformation (media.discordapp.net/attachments/742751287304781857/1015224705873084416/unknown.png ). Zenith shows the incorrect count for some reason...

I had to load the MIDI 5 times, each loading taking 11-14 hours. Loading progress was lost several times due to someone else turning off my pc, PFA crashing because my monitor got disconnected, playing into the crashpoint at a fast speed by accident, and a power outage. It kind of was a huge pain in the butt to make this, but I didn't give up.

Now a few FAQ (Inspired by LucasMIDI):

Q: Why did the FPS counter get stuck at 165.0 , 0.0 , 2020.0
A: This is a bug with the omnimidi speedhack that freezes the fps counter in the info box for some reason.
Q: Why does the battery icon appear on the task bar during the crashpoint
A: I recorded on my PC first, but after the power outage I decided to switch to my laptop to record the rest, just to be safe. I booted windows from the same SSD for both, so that's how it looks very similar.
Q: How big are the video files
A: Around 27 GB. I recorded on 1 fps with 500 kbps bitrate for the very slow parts, and 15 fps with 10000 kbps for the rest.
Q: Why does the playback toolbar appear for a few frames during the crash
A: I forgot to hide it after reloading, and then was too lazy to re-record 23 hours of video. I'm a fish lmao

Q: Can you show PROOF you actually recorded for this long?
A: Yes.

[Black MIDI] TAU the Song - 6.28 Million | 16-WAY Comparison (with ALL of my PCs!)

For this, I decided to do something special, running tau on all PCs and Laptops that I have, and after three days of spending my time to run tau on all of them, I did it, having almost two hours of tau footage. On some of them it was difficult to do it.

Especially the Intel Celeron 420 (a pc we got in 2007), where it took almost an hour to just load the midi, and 30 minutes to play it. The graphics driver even crashed near the end, but somehow it didn't corrupt the recording or anything.

I ended up with 11 legit runs in total. Luckily Minecraftfan Redstone and ColderNess sent me some of their Tau runs too, so I could end up with a perfect squared number of 16.

Orangepaprika 67 2022-05-20 | I went even further this time and beat my notes opened in PFA record once again. However this is not as impressive as loading toilet story, because this midi loaded in about 30 minutes. However I had to load this 4 times, due to a random crash, having lag in a recording but realizing it too late, and colors looking weird in a part (that's why you can see the color palette change during the video if you look closely)

I tried out some new stuff for this video (a completely new intro, note counter at bottom, and PC stats at the left upper corner), tell me what you think.

[osu] Paprikas 2.6 Trillion Lagtester | Biggest osu map ever (58,148,440 objects)

Orangepaprika 67 2022-04-29 | So I was bored and made a osu map with 58 million objects (i think i need serious help)

I did this by extracting the .osz file, taking the .osu file into a hex editor, and then manually copy pasting notes. In the process, I figured out osu possibly has a limit of 2 GB .osu files it can load, because a 3 GB file would just show up as "corrupted". So I ended up making a 1.5 GB big .osu file and put it back into a .osz, and surprisingly osu even accepted it.

Note: the map played in this Video is a smaller version with about 417 thousand objects, I didn't record the 58 million version due to how insanely long it would lag for, BUT I have a download link below for the 58M version if you want to try it, even if it would take hours or possibly days to load.

Orangepaprika 67 2022-04-15 | The biggest midi I have ever opened in PFA, and the longest time I had to ever wait for loading. It actually took 2 1/2 days to load because the huge amount of tracks. It would probably have loaded in less than a day on my i7-11800H if I had enough ram, but because 32 GB of ram is not enough for this midi it had to use a ton of pagefile. Luckily the nolagging process was easy because of the low polyphony throughout the midi

Fun fact: This Video has a 1 in 20000 chance id of getting all lowercase letters (according to my calculations, idk)

So yep. I got covid (don't worry I'm feeling mostly ok). And since I can't do much else right now, I decided to nolag this entire MIDI in pfa. It didn't take as long as I expected it, I finished it in about 3 hours of recording because this midi doesn't have parts with huge polyphony.

Recording the crashpoint alone (at 3:35) took around 30 hours, using speeds of 0.00005, 0.000035, 0.00002, 0.00001 and 0.000005, which is a slowdown of 200000x.
