I recently treated myself to a banjo@osvos3278 already sampled it on his P6 but I thought I would give it a go. @Grace_Griffin suggested that I ran it through my Lyra-8 so I did that too. And used 3 fingers to play the thing! 1. Banjo2. Roland P63. Lyra-8 (not counting the little Kaoss pad!)

The theme this week is Driving: This week we are looking for music to drive to. Lots of ways to interpret this, long drives in the open country, winding roads, the windows down and a chance to unwind. Maybe it's a song you'd like to hear whilst stuck in a traffic jam, or travelling back home after a long day at work. Maybe it's high speed chase with the pedal metal. Sebtic Smile HWJFEST24- For Inky Sebtic Smile 2024-08-29 | Made for the HWJFEST24 - a bitter sweet event as, on the one hand it was a wonderful getting together and celebration of jammers - and on the other hand it was the moment we realised that our beloved Inky Da Cat was missing. Sadly, she died before ever seeing her performance go out. She's left a massive hole in the jamming community and I will miss her personally a lot, so dedicating this to the most annoying, frustrating, kind, wonderful human that I've had the pleasure of knowing, loving and yet never meeting. The 7 Cables of Wayland (Live Noise Industrial Jam) Sebtic Smile 2024-02-18 | The Challenge this weekend from @hardwarejams was that we had to use 7 cables, no more, not less. And describe what each cable is doing. Cable 1- Blue. Plugs into the Holistic Delay In. Starts off being 'played'by hand before getting hooked to the VCA out. Cable 2- Orange. Goes from the Delay out to the Main OutCable3 - Green. Goes from the Main Out to the Deluge line in. (I could have saved a cable if I'd used a miniJack to 1/4 inch but couldn't find one) Cable4- Yellow. Chips Voice 1 to VCACable5-Another Orange. Chips Voice 2 to VCACable 6 - Dark Blue. LFO out to Tune for Voice 1 of ChipsCable 7- Red. CV out from Deluge to Voice 2 of Chips. Put it all together with some drums and you get an unholy noise! The title comes from some bold attempt by someone many years ago to create an interactive film called 'The Seven Swords of Wayland'. Not sure if it ever saw the light of day!#noise #drone #industrial

Was up at 5am to catch the sunrise at the famous temple of Angkor Wat. It was already packed with people to get a good position but it was still a magical experience.
