I've been dealing with a lot of artist's block and lack of motivation for the past few months and it's been really hard to actually make music. I had the same thing happen to me around the same time last year and I was telling a good friend of mine that maybe it's similar to seasonal depression but instead it's seasonal artist's block lol. LoZ: BoTW - Tarrey Town Lo-Fi Remix - iReadMusic iReadMusic 2020-12-02 | BOTW 2 WHEN NINTENDO PLZ IM DYINGThis is my new favorite theme in all of Breath of The Wild. I don't know why, but the first time I heard it, I listened to it for like an hour on repeat lol. It's just so beautiful, and the little "easter eggs" are so well thought out. For those of you who don't know, Tarrey Town is a side quest in BoTW where Link is tasked with building a small village so that different people can come to live in it. As he builds and the town develops, people from different races in Hyrule come to live there; the Gerudo, the Zora, the Rito, the Gorons, and the Hylians. And as the different races come, the theme of the town incorporates each race's theme into it's own. It's suuuper cool and when I finally realized this I had infinitely more appreciation for the theme and for the composers at Nintendo. iReadMusic Year 1 Megamix - Jumping Into It iReadMusic 2020-09-23 | It's been a good one for sure.Exactly 365 days ago, I uploaded my first remix to YouTube; my remix of the Lost Woods theme from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I wasn't really expecting much to come out from it, so I decided to just jump into it (hence the name). And I enjoyed it so much that I just stuck with it, making remix after remix. I had a hiatus a little while in, but when I got back I realized I had forgotten how much I enjoyed remixing and have been uploading every other week or so since. And here we are now.I'd like to thank the Pokemon Megamixing community for being such a great place to learn, make friends, and enjoy listening and making amazing music together! You guys are all such wonderful people and I appreciate your support more than anything c: Also, any irl friends who listen to my stuff, I appreciate you all as well ;) Concerning the future of my channel, I will definitely still be uploading, but probably on a more consistent every other week basis. Over summer, I had a lot of time and went through a period where I did a remix a week, but with school back in, that just won't be possible. I also plan on doing a lot of Breath of The Wild remixes this year because I love that game and I just am really craving to bathe in the glory of that soundtrack more. All in all, I had a great first year as a remixer, and I can't wait to do more. I learned a ton, had a bunch of fun, did a few collabs (shoutout to Caleb P., Jawnhto, and a few more in the near future hehe) and am certainly motivated to continue doing it. I honestly cannot fully express how meaningful all the support has been and how much remixing has made my life better, so I really hope that my music is reaching you guys in a similar way and maybe improving your days just a bit. Pokemon R/S/E - Verdanturf Town Lo-Fi Remix - iReadMusic iReadMusic 2020-09-20 | So this is a remix that I started and finished a while ago but just kind of forgot to release, but then a few other remixers made their own Verdanturf remixes which reminded me. So I went back to it, added a couple things - look for Pallet Town *and* Pachabel Canon in D Major this time :o - and here is the finished product! I made this one in the style of LoPo Bunny (go subscribe to them if you aren't already) because I love their lofi style soooo much, and I think it turned out pretty well. LoZ: BoTW - Revalis Theme Remix - iReadMusic iReadMusic 2020-09-06 | Breath of The Wild 2 when?I don't think Nintendo realizes how badly we need BoTW 2 news. I was drooling for a sequel the moment I finished the first one, and when I saw the trailer, I got so hype. Then big rona hit and everything has been bad since. I really hope it comes out soon, or at least we get a sneak peek of it. Now about the actual remix. Revali's theme is another absolute banger in BoTW. It has such a regal but also tragic air to it (haha get it, air. because bird man go fly), and when remixing it you have a lot of freedom to change the tone of the piece. I had a lot of fun with this one, and of course, I added a little Pallet Town too ;) although I think this one may be a bit harder to find than usual. I hope you enjoy!P.S. FE Three Houses- Gazing at Sirius Lo-Fi Remix - iReadMusic iReadMusic 2020-08-23 | Procrastination 100Ok so I got a request to do this remix a while ago... like almost 3 months ago. Now it would be normal if I'd worked on it a bit every once and a while and just finished it a few days ago, but noooooo, I finished it in maybe a few weeks and planned to release it soon after. But then the Pokemon Summer Megamix started and I got sidetracked in the hype and then I only remembered that I did this a couple weeks ago and here we are and sorry Toxic Pea. lol. But here it is, and I like this one a lot actually. I've never played FE, and never really listened to any of the music outside of Smash, so I was a bit blind on what to expect. This theme was really peculiar when I first heard it (it still is tbh), and I wasn't sure where to take it, so I just stared doing stuff. I changed the time signature, which changed it a lot actually. I kept the chords but moved them all to one instrument to keep it simpler. And then I added those drums, which I'm pretty proud of; they're simple, but catchy ;) Overall, I think this remix went pretty well, despite absolutely goofing on releasing it earlier. Enjoy!
