This video is based on the Genshin teaser: “Legacies in the Sand” video, starting from the time when the Scarlet King, King Deshret founded his dynasty → the disaster happened → King Deshret sacrificed himself → Greater Lord Rukkhadevata lost part of her power → the birth of the Lesser Lord Kusanali. There is a lot of information in this video, and of course, we have made many adaptions and re-creations to spice it up. It’s kind of pitiful that we did not include some of the follow-up stories of King Deshret and Flower God's Artifact stories and how King Deshret eventually unleashed the forbidden knowledge upon the world since the storyboard was created during the 3.1 version update.The video is called “Sand Dust”, meaning that no matter how shocking the story has happened, everything will eventually return to dust. The video name also implies a metaphor for the chaos after prosperity.The music is called “King Deshret” since the music style and the theme design was originally set in the desert area, but finally, we decided to add a section for the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata at the closing part during our production so that we could connect to the birth of the Lesser Lord Kusanali to inherit the legacy and guide Sumeru.Most of the character designs are our original fan designs. This time, we have put a lot of effort into every aspect of this work, from background music and vocal editing to video graphics and post-production effects. This work took on the editing idea of using vocals combined with graphics from my previous work, “Vast Sky”, and we have created an original storyboard as well as new original music to form the final video, which was challenging in every aspect.For the theme, we have chosen to create a more historical and epic style, which I was most comfortable with when creating as a Mader. We also tried to boldly include so many different characters and their stories in one single video and create some new stories for them, which greatly satisfied our ambition for creation. I’d like to thank everyone who participated in making this video. Their fascinating artwork and music were fantastic, and I could feel the efforts and passion of everyone. Although I’ve been hoping to make some videos for single characters, I think it would be more meaningful to take this opportunity to make another group-portrait video for everyone.We used Aether as Traveler this time. As for the reason, don’t ask ← ←It’s only that I think it would be fun to put guys together to do the quest hehe. For the script footage design, we didn’t follow every single step shown in the game to ensure the articulation of this short video went on more smoothly. Plus, like many other videos we made, we added some fan-preferred manipulations to the scenes and put in more Easter eggs that you might want to see~Speaking of Easter eggs (or stingers), I feel that the Irodori Festival should be pretty much similar to a real-world comic con. A real-life comic con can’t miss the “people mountain people sea” and tons of comic booths compared to what’s shown in the game, so I added more to this video with many other fun scenes! Though there were still some missing parts…like the Ayato boba joke lol. Shame, should do it next time.Then comes the plot. I was so impressed by the story of the Kaedehara clan, even though it’s a sad tale. I think Ayato might be the one secretly taking care of Kazuha since the Kaedehara clan was once the subordinate of the Kamisato clan after all. Anyway, I wish to create a healing and fluff overall feeling in this video, so we decided not to put too much effort into illustrating the sadness of their family stories. Still, there was that scene by the stairs, which I appreciated.This time we created up to 90 pictures and illustrated more than 100 original storyboards to make this video, and the unique color design was quite different than the previous videos too. This is the creator [Anmao] here from MIOTA Studio~This video is technically the most difficult and heaviest MAD we’ve made recently, and I really wish to share our experience during the production with you.In order to participate in the Anniversary Event, at the beginning of September when we only finished our basic storyboard, we quickly finished 80 pictures with more than 100 high-precision characters together with the massive action splitting and post-effects within only 10 days. Personally, I would say that all of us in this team have achieved something nearly impossible. It is difficult to describe the hardships involved just by words during our production.For this time, we’ve continued the plot from the previous Kazuha MAD (which you can find from our channel) and added many more characters to the script including Raiden Ei and her friends throughout the video.After we finished the video, it’s really a completion. These contents are far merely plain pictures since they contain everyone’s sincere love for the characters deep down from our hearts.
