Drifter Origins - Hunters Moon xkareloadedx 2023-02-11 | Hey all it's been a very very long time. Here's to releasing the next 2 or 3 parts within the year (hopefully lol)This is the beginning of Hiryo's story, the origin of the drifter series. This series will go over the complete history for Hiryo and how he became what he is. There's going to be a whole cast introduced throughout the series and I can't wait for you to meet them! I hope you guys enjoy the video.Fun fact: Did you know that the original Drifter's descent video came out on Feb 11th 2013? It was only fitting for the original reboot to come out on the same date 10 years later with Brand new cast and original characters. This is a big step for me as most of my work revolves around straight up action. I wanted to take a crack at developing dynamic scenes and sequences and really try a different approach towards my usual storytelling style. Let me know in the comments what you think, liked and disliked and if possible what I could've done better. All feedback is appreciated!It took so long to create customs for every character in here it felt like it would never come to fruition. However, looking at it now and seeing it all start to come to life makes it all worth it. This may be the beginning but rest assured Part 2 and 3 are well underway already. Between getting animals (2 cats), working from home, taking care of my son, and getting married it's a miracle I found time to work on this xD. Nonetheless I'm glad we were able to actually get this out to you guys this year, I know it's been a long wait but hopefully this 7 minute video makes up for it haha. This time around the challenge was sprites. Mainly the larger sprite sequences, it never ocurred to me how much time I'd be sinking into creating sprites for Hiryo, (sometimes) Quote and some of the painted foes. Overall I did learn a lot, I think we both did actually. There may be another collab in the future but I will not say anything more at this time. Kirby Drifters Descent - Resurrection xkareloadedx 2019-05-10 | Hey guys! Man has it been a LONG time lol anyway I'll cut to the chase, as the title suggests this is a revamp or a revival of KDD, more specifically Hiryo. This storyline is not the same one that you all know however.Due to unfortunate circumstances I had lost every single file that I had on my computer, i was well into KDD part 3 when it happened so I was pretty discouraged. I lost all of the sprites for Hiryo including all the weapons and sounds and voice files for him. I decided to not go backwards but instead push forward. I've completely recreated Hiryo from scratch, all of his moves/animations are 100% custom, I did not even use Kirby as a reference at all, so he's not really a fan character anymore at this point, he's his own thing. The reason why I decided to use these two characters to make him fight was because i needed something fresh to keep the ideas flowing. What started out as a pastime became a full blown project lolIn any case I wont keep going on any longer. Tl;Dr KDD is back, I'm back and Hiryo's definitely back. I've got something new coming out soon actually so you guys can look out for that, I'm sure you guys will love it.
