This 1972 film provides an introduction to the NCAR/National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) sailplane, "Two-Niner Juliet," and its role in cloud physics research. The Schweizer 2-32 Explorer sailplane was equipped with an array of electronic sensors and a unique camera system to photograph cloud particles in their natural state of suspension.
