The actual ending used is "mv_ending.sfd" and has this part baked into the start of it, along with audio. As a result, this video is not used. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time - Triggering Kaepora Gaeboras Unused TextKimimaru40002017-08-05 | I haven't found a video for this so I decided to upload one. This shows dialogue for the Zora's River Kaepora Gaebora in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that is unused in a normal playthrough.
The conditions are outlined on TCRF (tcrf.net/The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Ocarina_of_Time/Unused_Text#Zora.27s_River). Kaepora Gaebora spawns in Zora's River once you obtain Zelda's Letter, but he won't say this dialogue unless you learn Saria's Song before Zelda's Lullaby. Additionally, Saria appears in the Sacred Forest Meadow to teach you Saria's Song after obtaining Zelda's Letter. Therefore, you must get the letter from Zelda and leave the Castle Courtyard without learning Zelda's Lullaby.
There are a couple of reasons this is impossible under normal circumstances. First, if you save and quit in the Castle Courtyard, you will load back into Link's House with the Pocket Cucco and the game will act as if you hadn't visited Zelda. Second, the cutscene for learning Zelda's Lullaby extends extremely high and far to the sides, if not infinitely, so trying to get above, below, or around Impa will put you in the cutscene and teach you Zelda's Lullaby.
By obtaining a warp song early and having Bottled Bugs or a Fish, you can warp out of the Castle Courtyard with Ocarina Items, since you can't use the ocarina in there, after receiving Zelda's Letter. One way of getting a warp song is to enter Gerudo's Fortress as a child and make your way to the Spirit Temple where you'll learn the Requiem of Spirit. Once you've obtained the letter, warp to the Desert Colossus and make your way back through Gerudo Desert and hover over the gate. From there you can learn Saria's Song and head over to Zora's River to see Kaepora Gaebora say this text.
Thanks for watching and enjoy!Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door - Unused Koopa Curse Item DemonstrationKimimaru40002017-07-09 | This video showcases the unused Koopa Curse item in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Koopa Curse is a usable item in battle that inflicts the Slow status effect on a single enemy for three turns. The Slow status effect causes the character afflicted with it to move once every other turn. Slow is a very rare status effect since Beldam in the second Shadow Siren fight is the only enemy in the game who can inflict it on the player. Had Koopa Curse been included, it would have been a way for the player to inflict Slow on enemies.
Thanks for watching!Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door - Undefined Battle ID BehaviorKimimaru40002017-05-30 | This video showcases what happens in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door if you attempt to enter a battle with a Battle ID that doesn't exist in a particular location.
Enemies in the field are assigned a Battle ID that defines which enemies you encounter when you get in a battle. All areas in the game, except the Glitz Pit, share the same Battle IDs; however, encounters differ based on the area you're in. For example, although Boggly Woods and Petal Meadows both have a Battle ID of 00 defined, you cannot touch a Cleft in Boggly Woods and have it direct you to a battle against Goombas.
In this video, I set all encounters to lead me to Battle ID 08. Since the highest Battle ID Boggly Woods uses is 07, this is out of its range of possible encounters. Interestingly, instead of crashing or freezing, you instead see this behavior where it simply doesn't get you into a battle.
This video demonstrates an unused Attack Down status effect in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It functions as a counterpart to the Attack Up status you can obtain from Power Lift.
It is fully functional and has its own unique splash color, sound, and icon! It is identical to Tiny except it does not shrink the character afflicted with it. There are varying degrees of how much it reduces Attack based on the value you put in for the code. In this example, I simply chose 2.
Codes for afflicting it can be found in the TCRF link above. Thanks for watching!Mario Party 2 - Destruction Duet in 7 seconds (TAS)Kimimaru40002014-11-11 | This video is a TAS (Tool-assisted speedrun) of Mario Party 2 in which I control Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Mario, and Luigi at the same time in Mario Party 2 to destroy the statue as quickly as possible in the minigame Destruction Duet. There are 3 variations, called Types, of the minigame; this is Type 3, the most difficult one.
Low jump kicks are the most effective way to break the statue because of their power and speed. In the video, all four characters are performing frame-perfect jump kicks. The earliest you can perform the kick is 1 frame after the A button was pressed. Before each jump, barring the very first one, I run for 1 frame to gain enough speed to reach the statue.
There is an oddity that enables two characters to be close to each other and still kick the statue. Both characters have to be moving towards the statue and perform jump kicks on the same frames. I did this with Mario and Luigi. For reasons unknown, they managed to bump against each other despite being far away visually, resulting in Mario being too far to hit the statue with his next jump kick.
This trick will not work if both characters are extremely close to each other and one of them has kicked the statue; they must both be right up against the statue. I was originally planning on having Yoshi be on the right side of the statue and have Mario go next to him, but when Mario started his first jump kick it would interfere with Yoshi's jump, causing him to be too far to hit the statue. I tried to put Mario and Yoshi as far as possible, but it simply didn't work out.
I also made sure Mario ran against the statue a few extra frames so he would face against it perfectly. If I didn't do this, the recoil from the jump kick would launch him at a slightly rightward angle, making him unable to hit the statue next time.
All in all, Yoshi and DK's inputs are optimal, but I have no doubts that this can be done faster by moving Mario and Luigi more efficiently.
Enjoy!

It should read: Super Mario Sunshine - Completing The Goopy Inferno, Corona Mountain, Red Coins in a Bottle, and Eely-Mouth's Dentist Without the Hover Nozzle.
This was requested by the user mugg1991. He saw someone streaming a Hover Nozzle-less run, but that person got stuck on these four levels. This video serves to show how to complete each of these levels without the Hover Nozzle.
For The Goopy Inferno, I show a nice setup for getting on top of the golden mushroom. Hang on the ledge as I did and make your way to the left. You should automatically land on the edge once you go far enough; when that happens, hold down on the Control Stick and jump to do a Side Somersault while still holding down. Shortly after performing the somersault, hold up on the Control Stick to hang onto the edge of the mushroom.
As you probably already guessed, Eely-Mouth's Dentist was the most difficult of these Episodes to complete without the Hover Nozzle. If you happen to fall under the eel when he's at his lowest, there's no way of getting back up without using the Hover Nozzle. Additionally, I kept spraying water at the eel even when he was swallowing because if you get water on one of his teeth after he's finished swallowing he will pause before closing his mouth.

"Beat "the Goopy Inferno" from Super Mario Sunshine in under a minute... while holding the controller's C Stick all the way to the right, for the entire time. It might be advisable to use tape to hold the C Stick off-centre."
Although this wasn't mentioned in the original request, I refrained myself from using the L Button to change the camera.
As requested, I successfully complete the level in under a minute even while the C-Stick is held all the way to the right. The camera stopped sometimes because the game fixes the camera in certain places.
Play Time: 44 seconds

This video shows how to get into Sirena Beach early on in the game and without Yoshi. The building has a small ledge ringed around the inside of it that can be stood on, as well as some solid ground very close to the pipe in the middle of the building. By glitching into the building with the right height and doing a Ground Pound, I successfully manage to make it onto the ledge. After that, all I do is make it onto the other piece of solid ground and Spin Jump into the loading zone for Sirena Beach!
Note that the loading zone is not there when you first enter Delfino Plaza; you must first defeat the Polluted Piranha Plant and uncover the Grand Pianta Statue.
Also note that after a specific point in the game (I'm not sure which one, but probably after the cutscene in which you gain access to Pinna Park), the building becomes completely solid and you become unable to glitch through it. As a result, this must be done relatively early on in the game.
Also, sorry for the bad quality; I'm at college right now so I don't have my camcorder.
Without further ado, enjoy!

By luring Bob-Ombs up the stairs right next the Monty Mole and waiting for them to explode, you can defeat the Monty Mole without using the traditional spray-throw method.
For bonus entertainment, one of the Bob-Ombs blew up and didn't hit the Monty Mole; however, the lasting effects of the explosion made a Bob-Omb that he held over his head explode, damaging him.
Note that, as far as I know, this doesn't work in Noki Bay. The reason for this is the Bob-Ombs have no way of getting high enough to actually damage the Monty Mole. Also, as an Easter Egg, if you look underneath the Monty Mole's cannon in Noki Bay, you can see some of the Bullet Bills he used in Pinna Park.

This is a video of me completing the level, Way Cool, in Super Mario World as small Mario without using any of the ropes at the end. As requested, I used no powerups.
This is possible because the Fuzzies aren't placed far apart from one another. By bouncing on them using a Spin Jump, I managed to make it to the end of the level without the help of the ropes.

When Mario grabs a very specific corner on the big ledge that separates Bianco Hills, he instantly gets put on top of the ledge instead of grabbing onto it like normal. That corner is shown in the video.
To grab onto that exact spot in a speedrun is very difficult, and as such, I've zoomed out as much as possible to make the spot easier to find in my speedrun.

As most of you know, doing the Down With Petey Piranha! Shine Road to the Big Windmill is more difficult, and that's why I chose it! I chose not to include the boss, sorry. This is possible because of very glitchy invisible boundaries. When I walk up the machine from the back, I stay at the very left because going to the right will bring you on the slope. Strangely enough, when you get on the slope, you cannot get back to that platform unless you fall to the end and jump back up.
There was no other way to get the three Red Coins at the start of the machine.
When I was getting the Red Coin at the very top of the machine, I was able to move right when wall-kicking because I moved to the right before grabbing the wall with my side jump. You can't go left and get the Red Coin because there's an invisible boundary blocking you.
Finally, making it to the machine slot where the Shine Sprite was located required me to do a triple jump within a very short distance.
Without meaning to, I added in some entertainment by almost dying at the end.

How to do the glitch:
1. Find a place where you can fall and instantly change screens either with or without having to hold down a direction on the D-Pad, such as the area displayed in the video.
2. Switch to your non-default Action Icons (the Body Slam and the Spike Ball icons).
3. While falling, hold down the L button (also be sure to hold down the direction you need to hold to change screens, if you're in an area that requires you to do so).
4. Wait until you've changed screens and behold! The Action Icon will be labeled with a "-" and actually doesn't work!
This glitch can easily be reversed by simply pressing the L button or by switching Action Icons. Please also note that you do not need to be in the Spike Ball for this glitch to work, and the glitch will work most of the time, but not all of the time.
Sorry for the poor quality; I do not know of a way to record DS games in great quality.

Check out my profile for more cool videos!Super Mario Sunshine - Flutter Jumping To The Lonely Island With YoshiKimimaru40002009-08-31 | This is a video of me flutter jumping to the lonely island with Yoshi. Since Yoshi can't swim, you'd normally need to jump on numerous boats that move across the waters of Isle Delfino to get there, or you can use a glitch that involves jumping through a building, which is faster. This method is probably the fastest method only if you can succeed on the first attempt. I hover backwards because Yoshi hovers faster backwards, and hovering forwards would take a very long time.
How to do this: After you jump with Yoshi, press X to dismount Yoshi and then press L right after to do a ground pound. Since you stop in mid-air when you ground pound, and since Yoshi stops in mid-air for a little bit after you dismount him, you go back onto him. This isn't as easy to do as it sounds because if you press L too early or too late, it won't work. You need to get it just right.

Shorter and less powerful characters often do worse on this minigame because they can't hit the Bullet Bills that come after them as easily as tall characters, and they also can't hit the Bullet Bills back at Mecha Bowser as soon as he shoots them out.
Time: 47:28 (47 seconds, 28 hundredths of a second) (In-game)
I'll admit it; it takes mostly luck to do very well in this minigame, mainly because Mecha Bowser's movements and the chance of a Star appearing are random. The key to doing well is to manipulate Mecha Bowser to shoot a lot of Bullet Bills, which can then be hit back at him.
As shown in the video, this time can be improved. If I had hit those 2 Bullet Bills at the end back at Mecha Bowser, I would have gotten at least 46 seconds.
Please note that this is the Gamecube version of this game. I'm not sure if there are any differences between this version and the Wii version.

I am Yoshi, and hydrakiller4000 is Donkey Kong. The Mario and Luigi players are computer players on the Very Hard difficulty level. This record can definitely be improved with more precise jump-kicks. In addition, hydrakiller4000 accidentally punched and missed the statue at the end instead of hitting it with a jump-kick.
We accomplished this by jumping very low and doing kicks in the air. This results in an extremely fast and effective jump-kick.
To do the jump-kicks like we did, you need to press the A button to jump, and then immediately press the B button. The B button must be pressed approximately 1/8 of a second after the A button.

This is me doing a ground pound out of a long jump in Super Mario Galaxy. The music you hear is the boss music from the music glitch that I demonstrated in my other video. See the bottom of the description for that video.
Normally, you can't do a ground pound while you're in the middle of a long jump, but if you do a spin by shaking the Wii Remote and press Z to ground pound at the same exact time, you'll ground pound out of one. This can be very useful in speed runs. I find it easier to pull off when I cross my arms and press Z at the same time.
The strange part about this ground pound is that it can act like a spin as well, depending on how well you did it. For example, if you do it in the middle of a circle of rocks, star bits might come out.

The first 4 clips I show are planet landing cancels, the next 3 clips are lava burn cancels, the 3 clips after those are wall hit (doing a long jump into a wall, etc.) cancels, and the last clip shows me doing a lot of ground pound cancels in a row. Please note that planet landing cancels don't work on all planets, and canceling ground pounds doesn't save too much time. Here's how to do each one, incase someone wants to know:
How to cancel planet landings:
-When Mario lands on a planet in the beginning of a level, he normally holds his hands out and says "Yes!" When Mario lands on a planet at any other time during the level, he normally has his head down and makes a sound because of the impact from landing. Before landing on a planet, either in the beginning, middle, or end of a level, either keep tapping the "A" button repeatedly, or press the "A" button the moment you land on a planet. If successful, you will jump when Mario is normally doing his landing stance.
How to cancel lava burns:
-When you get hit by lava, Mario will normally touch the ground, bounce, touch the ground again, and finally run a little before you're able to control him normally. Wait until Mario hits the ground and bounces. When he touches the ground for the second time, jump. If done correctly, Mario should have jumped instead of doing his normal animation.
How to cancel wall hits:
-Hit into a wall in some way, preferably with a long jump. When Mario is on the floor, either tap "A" repeatedly or press "A" after he's been on the floor for a little while to jump. If done correctly, Mario should have jumped instead of staying on the floor for a while.
How to cancel ground pounds:
-Jump and do a ground pound. After Mario has been on the ground for roughly half a second, jump. If done correctly, Mario should have jumped instead of stay in the ground pound position for a while.

This is a video of me completing Corona Mountain in Super Mario Sunshine without using the traditional boat method. Relying mainly on the Hover Nozzle, I make my way past the gigantic lava pit through the use of the many stalagmites protruding from the ground.
When falling off the stalagmites, the direction you face is where you go. Where you fall off on the stalagmite only plays a small role in where you go.
Please note that this isn't a speedrun. I got hurt in the beginning for entertainment purposes, and at the end I wasn't paying too much attention, so I didn't do too well on the part where you need to use the Rocket Nozzle to go on top of the clouds and make your way up to the top.

To do: Press and hold R to flip sideways. Jump and let go of R. Right before you land, jump again and do a ground pound. If done correctly, you should be flipping back to normal while jumping and doing a ground pound. Immediately after the ground pound, tilt the control stick in the opposite direction of the one you're facing.
This works in both directions, and it can work anywhere. It doesn't work if you don't ground pound.
Enjoy!

I'm pretty sure that some other people have found this out as well. It's self-explanatory of how to get up there, but I'll break it down for those who might not know:
Backflip onto the upper part of the Comet Observatory as shown in the video. When sliding, hold down so that you will be able to jump and do a spin. Keep jumping and spinning to make your way up.
The reason the teleporter from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor is active is that I already activated it before making this video. If you go up to the 2nd floor without having it activated, you will create the 2 way teleporter. This can be used to save time in a speedrun.
If you look up to where the Garden is, you will see another teleporter that can be activated. Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no way to get up there earlier and activate it.
Enjoy!

The Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret is Shine Sprite #1 in Gelato Beach. I use lunges and the Hover Nozzle to make my way towards the Shine Sprite. I also take the same path as my Super Mario Sunshine Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret No Jump Speedrun Video.

Playtime: 0:48 (48 seconds)
For those of you who are wondering how I calculate the playtime, I only count the time that I am actually able to control Mario.

This is a combo video made by me, Kimimaru. I'm also known as [G-Ü]Kimimaru[CDR], and [T-P]Kimimaru]. All of these combos were done by me on a keyboard.
All combos shown in the video are original and not escapable without Directional Influence or the help from external factors, with the exception of the Samus combos. Most of these combos are from 0% damage to death, but not all of them are.
The Samus combos were kept so that I or other people can elaborate on them and possibly create a combo out of one of them.
As you may notice, I replaced the longer Captain Falcon on Donkey Kong combo; that combo required frame by frame precision to be successfully executed. Since it took out a lot of my time, and I still didn't do it successfully, I decided not to include it. Try to find out which combo I replaced this one with.
Combos changed:
-Ness on Mario (Combo #10)
-Mario on Ness (Combo #12)
-Donkey Kong on Captain Falcon #1 (Combo #14)
-Captain Falcon on Pikachu (Combo #7)
-Link on Donkey Kong (Combo #4)
-Mario on Kirby (Combo #3)
For the first Donkey Kong on Captain Falcon (Combo #14), the CPU Captain Falcon only uses a double jump to recover; however, even with his Up + B recovery move, he cannot recover.
Oh, and I also added an ending!
Enjoy!

Parts of improvement: After Bouldergeist only has his head left at the beginning, I could've done a spin-long jump to hit him faster. Near the end, I missed a bomb-boo.

It consists of 2 throws and one fully charged B attack. There is no way for Mario to escape, besides help from an external factor.
This also works on every other character. The exceptions are Jigglypuff and Donkey Kong, where you have to alter the combo slightly. For Jigglypuff, do a short hop before using Donkey Kong's fully charged B attack. For Donkey Kong, throw him 3 times instead of 2, then use Donkey Kong's fully charged B attack.

Enjoy! This is faster than my previous time. The most notable difference is skipping most of the level by doing a long jump to the area the star is at. I found it really hard to get in the right position to wall-kick off the wall.
