FNF: VS. reflection.nes - 1981 DELUXE [EPILEPSY WARNING; HALLOWEEN SPECIAL] justonenumber7 2022-10-31 | original song by me and @skeletoun soundcloud link: soundcloud.com/lonepwned/1981-deluxeReflection.nes was a character included in an extremely vivid dream i had sometime in 2022. The game was essentially a re-release of the super mario bros NES game but it was like an anniversary edition of the game and there was a bunch of crazy new shit in the game aswell. Like it was MASSIVE worldwide news that this game was releasing kinda . Anyways im playing the game and eventually i think i found a yoshi egg so i opened it and got on yoshi and finished a level with him, but, this time the level told me ro start running backwards. And while this text appeared on the screen, several samples of Wario saying "MARIO...." taken from a super mario land 2 commercial were just on constant repeat in the background, each sample having mildly different pronunciations of mario. I start running backwards with yoshi aswell; nothings going on at all while im running to the start of the level until fireworks start going off (like how you finish a level on a time where all the numbers r the same) , and eventually i reach the start of the level, where it shows a kind of like... scaffolding. Like behind the normal level terrain, and theres a pipe that comes up , and out comes a slightly recolored Jumpman from the original arcade games - bright blue overalls and hat, black clothing underneath. He just emerges and stands there, all while mario and yoshi stand there. After some time he just jumps on mario, and while hes in the air he shouts "YOU WON'T REPLACE ME." stepping on him and grabbing him by one overall strap and the game bugs out for a second, and it cuts to a glitchy, bugged amalgamation of jumpman and NES mario slowly walking across the levels floor, with almost zombie like steps. All while this is going on. the "MARIO.." sound effects get louder and louder and louder and more scratchy and more distorted as the character s just walking across the level, and eventually my tv just turned off. I tried turning on the game again, and it wouldnt read anything at all. Like the game essentially self destructed just like that. Nothing else happened afterwards.
