Today I have a look at how to turn your used tea bags into tiny pieces of parchment - thin but crispy and they will hold a fold that will let you turn them into pages of a signature in your journal and other work. You can also use them in collage, cardmaking, or other mixed media work.

Here is the easy recipe for making paste out of corn starch/corn flour and water. My ratio here is a part corn flour to three parts water. I’ve also added instant coffee granules (optional) to add a parchment-like tint. You can also substitute brewed coffee or tea for part of the water in the recipe for a similar effect:
