Rocky Mountain Construction was hired to renovate and reimagine the former Gwazi wooden roller coaster and turn it into a steel/wood hybrid. Iron Gwazi features a 206 foot, 91 degree first drop, a top speed of 76mph and multiple inversions and elements, including an inverted stall and a barrel roll downdrop. Dollywood Sweet Summer Nights Drone Show makes its debut Marcus Leshock 2021-06-28 | #Dollywood is kicking off their Summer Celebration with a pretty cool looking drone show. The park released this footage of what the show looks like. 400 drones from Intel hit the sky making different shapes all set to music. This is all coordinated with fireworks as well. The show runs through the end of July.

It was a lot of fun and nice to see the park lit up like this with festive music playing throughout - plus it was 50 degrees - a November heatwave in Gurnee!
