🧶 Pattern with US Terms:
Round 1:
Ch 3, sl st into first ch to form a ring.
Ch 2 (counts as dc), 2 dc in ring, ch 2.
*3 dc in ring, ch 2; repeat from * two more times.
Sl st into top of first dc to join. Fasten off. (4 clusters, 4 ch-2 corners)
✨ Tip: Work your stitches over the yarn tail in Round 1 to secure it and skip weaving.
Round 2:
Turn. Join new color in any corner sp, securing over the previous tail.
Ch 2 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same sp, ch 2, 3 dc in same sp.
* In next corner sp, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc); repeat from * around.
Sl st into first dc to join. Fasten off.
Round 3:
Turn. Join new color in any corner sp, securing over the previous tail.
Ch 2 (counts as dc), 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in same sp.
* 3 dc in next side sp; (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner sp; repeat from * around.
Sl st into first dc to join. Fasten off.
Round 4 and Beyond:
Continue in the same way:
– Corners = (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc)
– Sides = 3 dc in each side sp
Fasten off and weave remaining tail securely.
