Osaka is home to the birth place of IMAX, where the founders of IMAX Corporation screened Tiger Child at the Expo70 fair. Subsequently, Japan became home to two iconic 1.43:1 IMAX theaters - 109 Expocity Osaka and Grand Sunshine Cinema Tokyo
