Week 3 of the Shadowkeep story brings us the Memory of Toland Quest, which requires killing a Trove Guardian and getting kills with the Sword of Crota. You can then take the journal to Eris for an interactive Cutscene.

The Trove Guardian cane spawn in one of three locations: Archer's Line, the Hellmouth, or Anchor of Light (as seen in the video). Depending on the week the Trove Guardian will be at one of these locations.
