Each year the Construction and Building Industry with the Boy Scouts of America honors an exceptional leader and role model. This year Jim Ryan was the guest of honor at a Lunch-O-Ree on September 29 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Diego's Mission Bay.
Troop 151 of Chula Vista was selected to present the colors and to give an opening prayer. The honor guard of Senior Patrol Leader Michael Patch and Assistant Patrol Leader Paul Ruiz, responded to the call of Troop Chaplain, Arturo Ortiz.
Scoutmaster James Patch worked with his young men, practicing again and again so the presentation of colors and opening prayer would go off without a hitch.
