Trains on the Norfolk Southern Harrisburg Line Late Summer 2015 was shot between Reading and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, from the end of August to the last days of summer in September 2015. Train descriptions, and the time they appear in the video are listed below.

8/20/15 - A light afternoon rain blows through Richland with a little bit of color from a Citi Rail GEVO to brighten the day.

Later that evening the rain lets up but dark skies still loom as Reading local H31 storms west through Richland with two GP38-2's push-pull.

8/31/15 - The sun has just dipped below the horizon at PRESCOTT when loaded Phillips 66 crude oil train 66Z, led by the Conrail Heritage Unit, crosses from Main 1 to 2.

9/01/15 - The next evening, the sun is about to set at the Annville train station as a rather unusual pair of locomotives seen on the road pull extra freight cars that did not make it onto 33A's train from Enola Yard to Allentown. I think this is the first time I have ever seen a GP59 pull a road freight, but 4616 and 6140 are engines commonly assigned to yard or local duty in and around Allentown Yard.

9/08/15 - A pair of Canadian Pacific locomotives pull auto and stack train 290 east through Robesonia.

9/16/15 - A loaded Herzog ballast train from Dyers heads west through Hershey, passing the "Hershey Shifter" which sits idle in the north yard with NS GP38-2 5669 with Operation Lifesaver decals and an ex-Conrail shoving platform behind the power.

That afternoon at the Palmyra train station, a fairly new SD60E rebuild leads mixed freight train 19G west across Railroad Street.

Half an hour later, empty autoracks pulled by an ex-Conrail SD60 ease through the S-bend between the Swatara train depot and the former mill (now restored as a restaurant) near Milepost 101.

9/18/15 - Another rarely seen GP60 is on the point of a loaded stone train from the quarry between Annville and Palmyra, heading east past the train station in downtown Lebanon.

Half an hour later, a pair of Union Pacific EMD's are in charge of 36Q as it eases through 16th Street in Lebanon, upgrading to a clear signal at WALL after getting an approach at the 90 automatic.
