Eager for a rematch, he enters the competition and trains relentlessly with Trunks. However, before their match can happen, they become entangled in a mission to stop the wizard Babidi from reviving Majin Buu. Fueled by his frustration and desire for power, Vegeta allows Babidi to control his mind, hoping to regain the ruthless warrior he once was. Even under Babidi’s influence, Vegeta defies his orders, aiming instead to finally settle his score with Goku.As their battle intensifies, news of Majin Buu’s awakening forces Vegeta to set aside his rivalry with Goku. Upon arrival, Vegeta dispatches Cui and later Dodoria, tapping into Frieza's scouter communications to learn the Dragon Balls' secrets.
