Hello everyone!
I transcribed Ubame’s theme.
This is clearly chaos in every sense.
The wild and overlapping instruments make the track sound intimidating and frantic.
I really love the melody in the final section, which is almost improvised. It's my favorite part of the whole theme.
Transcribing this was... complicated.
There are so many layered and saturated elements that it’s almost impossible to hear any clear notes. Most of the time, I just followed my intuition.
The electric guitar was one of the hardest instruments to pick out. I ended up improvising several of its notes because I gave up, haha.
I ended up getting attached to the track despite all the suffering.
Next up is Stage 2, my favorite track from the demo :)

Al igual que en el anterior álbum, participé y aporté varios tracks así que los estaré subiendo en mis tiempos libres.
[Disunified Field Theory of Magic]
De alguna manera estuve muy motivado a la hora de hacer este arreglo. El único estilo el cual creo que le queda bien a este tema es el de PCB. Una ligera introducción y luego una base frenética... Lo de las trompetas fue un añadido a mi gusto, lo hace sonar más intenso, justo lo que creo que se busca en un Pre-Battle. Aunque quizás exageré un poco.
Lamento la tardanza. Me dio un poco de pereza y no me puse a trabajar en los vídeos.
Aún faltan muchos temas así que espero que me perdonen... El siguiente será Strawberry Crisis!!

Transcribí el tema del menú de Touhou 20
Tiene un aire de tranquilidad y algo de tristeza.
Es curioso escuchar una mezcla que evoca un sentimiento así en un tema de menú. De cierto modo me recuerda a The Collectors Melancholy Afternoon de Th18.5.
Escuchar esto mientras te paseas por el menú es toda una experiencia, jaja.
Parece haber un nuevo instrumento de cuerda que aún no se logra identificar. Aunque me las intenté arreglar con una combinación rara de instrumentos...
Se siente bien que ZUN siga experimentando con instrumentos diferentes, o almenos esa da la sensación. Muy liberador.
La estructura es simple y corta así que no tuve muchos problemas en transcribirla.

I was struggling with the bass, yeah the original song has no bass but for some reason I decided to add one to it, I dont know, Im weird. (Yes, it has Zunpets).

Finalmente, el último tema de PvZ que subiré.
Realmente no tengo pensado en alguno más que hacer de este juego.
Este track se siente potente, así que intenté brindarle esa potencia dándole protagonismo a la batería y los lead.
El piano de la parte calmada es demasiado hermoso, no me canso de repetirlo, un buen tema para el jefe final.

I dont really plan on doing any more from this game.
This track feels powerful, so I tried to give it that power by giving prominence to the drums and leads.
The piano in the calm part is too beautiful, I never get tired of repeating it, a good theme for the final boss.

Buenas a todos!
Este es el arreglo que hice para el final de la BBEX17 Direct.
Es un arreglo del tema de PoB, pero implementando referencias de Taboo Japan Disentanglement y Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom.
La combinación es un tanto peculiar y está bastante influenciado en Apparitions Abound Even Outside of Night y creo que es muy notable, jaja.
No tengo mucho que agregar, fue divertido realizar este arreglo y a pesar de no ser algo tan trabajoso o original, siento que sí logra transmitir esa sensación de espacio y melancolía.

Me gustaría que vean el vídeo completo ya que al final dejo un pequeño comentario.
No me gusta entrar en detalles, pero almenos puedo prometer que este 2025 va a haber más actividad por mi parte y sacaré mi segundo álbum!
Puede que deje un poco de lado las transcipciones y me enfoque más en arreglos y composiciones. Todo el 2024 he estado intentando mejorar mi estilo de composición y a su vez aprendiendo algo de Smooth jazz japonés, el cual es mi género de música favorito.
