Welcome to my BRUTAL SHMUPS series, this time with my Top 5 Hardest Shoot Em Ups on the SuperNES. Every episode I cover a new console focusing on the hardest, most brutal Top 5 Shmups on the system. The Super Nintendo (SNES) didn't have a ton of Shoot Em Ups, but it was a matter of quality over quantity. Games like Axelay and Gradius by Konami, Space Megaforce by Compile, two RType games by IREM, and Macross Scrambled Valkyrie are just some of many excellent shooters on the SuperNES.
