The Honeycombs were an English beat/pop group, founded in 1963 in North London. The group had one chart-topping hit, the million selling "Have I the Right?", in 1964. After that song the interest in the group ebbed away, and they split up in late 1966. They became known as the Tornados in February 1962, a name being necessary when they secured a contract to become Billy Fury's backing band. George continued with them until August 1963, when he quit due to health reasons, having collapsed on stage due to the strain of constant touring. "How could I ever" was the B side single of "Where I'm bound" released in June 1965.George was replaced in the Tornados by the now deceased Bryan Irwin.He went on to own his own record label - SRT and his own music publishing business - Geobell Music. He also co-founded Sound Venture Productions enabling him to get properly involved with arranging and producing and co-formed the World Artists label with ex-Meek crooner Don Charles. This label released a record in the US by the Moments (Steve Marriott's pre Small Faces band), a cover of the Kinks' "You Really Got Me" in a bid to beat the original into their charts. It failed to chart, but the B-side was a Caddy original. Over recording history in the United Kingdom, Cattini has been the drummer on hundreds of recordings by artists as diverse as Cliff Richard, The Kinks, The Yardbirds and Lou Reed. Cattini has been a session drummer on 44 different singles that reached #1 in the UK.
