This is one of the smallest quadcopters and it’s insanely fast! Luckily it has 3-speed settings, slow, medium, and screaming. Priced at under $30, you can’t go wrong. Slow mode is great for indoors, the medium mode is actually fast enough for outdoor flying and can take on a light breeze, and fast mode is just bananas. Make sure you’re outside in the middle of the field in you’re flying in fast mode because it will get away from you very quickly and even with the bright LED lights it’s still hard to tell which direction it’s pointing when it gets more than 30 feet away.
The raw rate is accurate and doesn’t cause this quadcopter to sway or drift around like other small to medium-sized quadcopters. This is due to its high-quality motors and components.
TIPS:
If your quadcopter doesn't connect to your transmitter (the front lights will blink and the backlight will remain solid) then turn off and try again in a few minutes. Mine does this every once in a while but I do notice that after being turned off for some time it will fix the problem.
When you first turn on your quadcopter make sure it's on a flat level surface to allow the gyro to initialize properly.
Reduce the throttle completely when every you crash. This will help extend the life of your blades.
Flips are tight and easy to control.
The stability is excellent thanks to a 6 AXIS gyro. Even with its great stability, it’s not the easiest quad to fly simply because of its small size makes it harder to see. It’s lacking a lot of the extra protection that beginner pilots will appreciate when learning to fly. The design is all about keeping the weight down and this makes it fly well, but as a sports car, it is pretty delicate.
You can get an optional blade guard to help protect the propellers and keep them from coming off during crashes.
If you do have a least some experience flying quads then you’ll love this one. With a little practice, you’ll be surprised at how well this tiny thing flies.
Lucky it does come with 4 extra props because they do pop off and are easy to lose.
