A great start to the tour- hundreds of good listeners in an old church followed by a Sacred Harp workshop in a rock club with about 60 enthusiastic participants. I spoke half in English and half in Serbo-Croatian, which seems to have enough in common with Czech to communicate some simple things.
A brilliant thing do with ham: smoke it, stew it in beer and then barbecue it- Man!- where has Czech street food been all my life? Also- "bramboraky." Not as thrilling to eat, but I can't stop saying it. More to come...
