Ever since Peco announced their OO9 Prince and Princess locomotives, I had the idea to turn one of the 2 into Duke The Lost Engine from Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends. I went to my local model shop and picked up an extra model of Prince. When I got home I took off the body and made the shade brown I wanted for him. Using my paint pens I picked out Duke’s yellow stripes on his saddle tanks and tender. The face is from an Ertl Diecast Duke that is slightly faded but I’m waiting for a battered one in the post that I can take the face off and then fix the other one back on.
