Pg can mess with you, but its rare if you slide off the pillar when I did. I think the bomb was dropped a little early, so the keese didnt settle into the best positions. That or the hovering up before the bomb drops caused the keese to go more up. I ended up having to fall more to avoid the explosion anyways but either way timing it is going to be dumb. You want the keese to be close to the wall as that makes the hearts spawn in good locations and you want to hit all the keese (unlike in the video).
Overall if you cant get this 100% of the time you should feel bad about yourself :)
