Everyone knows about Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster, but few have ever heard the legend of the Hodag. This beast was feared in lumberjack camps, known for its horrible temper and powerful tail, but was it real?
Eugene Shepard claimed to have killed on in 1893, but when those claims weren't enough to grab national attention, he went out and supposedly caught one alive. People came from far and wide to see the mysterious creature, but it wasn't until scientists reached out that the truth of the monster came to light.
