This is NOT Electronic Music Gear...
For every single Free Beat Live show that I've done, my friend Oliver and I have used QLC+ to manage our stage lighting. It's honestly pretty cool, especially since it's free. However, we wanted to up the game this time around, and so we decided to check out the ADJ WMX1 Mk2, a hardware controller that looks like a lot like a typical groovebox! This thing is pretty sweet, allowing us to program up to 200 scenes per project, using a wide variety of lights, movements, colors, pretty much anything a piece of software would do. It also supports MIDI controllers, meaning that I'll be able to trigger the lights from the stage with my MC6 Pro! It's certainly a pricey unit, but I think it's worth looking at if you're in the market for a hardware lighting controller! Enjoy the video :)
