Can a cheap moving blanket become a real sleeping bag?

Welcome to Week 3 of the 30-Day Hobo Challenge!

This week we're building one of the most important pieces of our homemade hobo camping outfit—a traditional sleeping bag made from an inexpensive packing blanket and a little cord.

Using only simple tools and a few dollars' worth of materials, I'll show you how to transform an ordinary moving blanket into a functional sleeping bag inspired by the practical ingenuity of Depression-era hoboes.

After building it, we place it inside the waterproof hobo tent we built during Week 2 to continue assembling our complete camp.
