An attempt at creating consistent motifs for certain characters--William’s motif was initially going to use a similar melody to the song used by the trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s 3. It’s more emotional variant, “The Alchemist” would have been used in relation to William as a general character. This theme however recontextualizes that motif into something darker and more sinister--another side to the same coin.
The Yellow Rabbit’s theme more closely resembles the FNaF 3 trailer, with the fun little addition of a robotic whisper. There was initially an intro that referenced the Yellow Rabbit’s theme from the FNaF movie, but it was left out of the track because I didn’t like how it sounded.
This track will not be reused for the new In Loving Memory.

So its been a little bit since the last upload. The animation Im making is taking WAY longer than I expected and I cant squeeze time in to make smaller videos, and intrest in the project (which I refuse to cancel) is dwindling, so I havent really been in the best position as of lately.
Speaking of which, this is something I wanted to do all the way back in July when the Scott Cawthon Controversy happened. That hit me straight in the heart like a semi-truck and I was REALLY down in the dumps for a while, and it only kept getting worse from there. It kinda seems like its 2021s personal goal to ruin as many childhood heroes as possible, and thats only part of it. In fact, I decided this cover had to be a thing on Monday when the whole thing with Jonochrome happened (I was never in the ONAF community so it didnt hit me as hard if at all, but it was still like ... really?)
As for the cover itself, I wouldnt say its my best (not like you have anything to compare it to). I feel like I could have done the verses better, but I was on a time crunch, so I couldnt take time to rerecord (I barely even have time to type this description right now). I will say though that I absolutely love the harmonies in the chorus. As for the production, there was gonna be more to it. I tried recording my own guitar, but because Im still a beginner guitarist, it just didnt have the sound I wanted, so I just looped the guitar from the original song and added my own synths to it. (the instrumorph was a nice last minute addition).
Ill try to finish up this animation ASAP, but for right now, just be glad I dont sound like Weird Al Yankovik anymore. =)
