The Witness is the latest game from Jonathan Blow, the creator of Braid. In this game you're tasked with solving various puzzles at all follow the same basic principal: get through the maze. However, as you go through the game, the nature of these mazes changes to create different puzzles that keep you engaged throughout the game.
It is a highly immersive experience with a high-contrast art style full of color. There is no background music, because the developers believe that arbitrary background music would detract from the overall feeling of solitude and immersion. I tend to agree.
