Barbara McNair was already an established singer and performer by the time she signed with Motown in 1965. Between 1965 and 1968, she would go on to record nearly 50 songs with label with over half being unreleased. This track was one of those that went unreleased. It was one of only a few times that Holland-Dozier-Holland would write and produce for Barbara McNair during her time with the label. It was considered to be included on her 1966 album "Here I Am," but instead sat in the vaults. It wasn't until 2003 when it was released on Barbara McNair's "The Ultimate Motown Collection."
