I shot this video during the years 90 at HATO AIRPORT in Curacao. Those were the days that lot of things was possible IF you just ask in advance for a permission, GREAT YEARS...
No jet-ways yet at that airport during those years, just disembark your aircraft and WALK in the fresh Caribbean breeze to the very close arrival hall...

Where in the world (at a big airport) is it still possible to have all your cockpit and cabin crew wait for you down at the stair after you made your very last landing? PROUD to have live all this during my years living on the DUSHI ISLAND OF CURACAO...!

Unfortunately this Captain has pass away last November 27'th 2012 here in Amsterdam The Netherlands. R.I.P. Capt. Erik Dames...
