I don’t think anyone can argue with me when I say the handheld retro gaming market has exploded in recent years. Devices from companies like Anbernic, Retroid, and AYN now make it possible to carry decades of gaming history in your pocket. But while hardware has advanced at a rapid pace, the software experience can be a little fragmented: multiple apps, manual configuration, hours of tweaking before everything finally works the way you want.
