The University of Chicago celebrated the Class of 2026 during its 540th Convocation on June 6, 2026, on the Main Quadrangles. The UChicago Pipe Band led distinguished faculty and degree candidates in a procession, followed by opening remarks from President Paul Alivisatos. Renowned legal historian Prof. Alison LaCroix served as faculty speaker, delivering an address titled “On the Perpetuation of Our Political Institutions.”
