Hunting Grounds (Power Supply Interruption), Damnation gameplay on Chasm Station HL-16-11 using the Antax Mk V Combat Axe and Kantrael MG XII Infantry Lasgun.
I would like the preface this by saying, I'm not forgetting about weapons such as the mighty Boltgun which is one of the best weapons in the game, and is one of the best picks in line with the Kantrael Lasgun. But for the best "all-round" loadout, the Kantrael Lasgun & Combat Axe takes the pudding in my opinion.
As we all know the Kantrael MG XII Lasgun is incredibly strong. It excels at all ranges and has the ability to 1-2 shot every special enemy except Flak Armoured Rager's (3-4 shot), Maulers & Ogryn. This isn't to say it doesn't make quick work of Ogryn's (Except Crushers). The ability to stack toughness damage resistance whilst consistently regenerating toughness per kill means you can face-tank rooms of shooters, and with the correct Feat, keep your Ultimate up indefinitely.
The Antax Mk V Combat Axe makes up for the Lasguns downfalls, by enabling you to destroy both Crushers and hoards. The Brutal Momentum Blessing unlocks this weapons ability to wipe the heads off of rows of Poxwalkers at a time. On top of this, it has good defensive stats meaning you don't find yourself running out of dodges or stamina too quickly.
