Take a splash of paranoia, a dollop of mistrust and mix them together with a shedload of body horror, and you’ve got The Thing, the Computer Artworks developed video game I was rather excited to play.
A sequel to the 1982 cinematic masterpiece and 2011 prequel - both also called The Thing - it's an intriguing game packed full of original ideas which, unfortunately, doesn't manage to reach the same dizzying heights as the film which began the series.
This video analyses The Thing in great detail, talking about it's gameplay, graphics, atmosphere and story, with a view to ascertaining how good the 2002 release actually is.
